 Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը հորդորում է սենսացիա չսարքել նրանից, որ մարտի 2-ի ԱԺ նիստը չի կայացել քվորում չլինելու պատճառով: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Շարմազանովը հիշեցրեց, որ նախորդ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների նախաշեմին էլ նման դեպքեր եղել են: «Սա նոր իրավիճակ չէ, կհորդորեի սենսացիա չստեղծել, այսօր ունենք այդ իրավիճակը, պետք է առաջնորդվենք այդ իրողությամբ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Շարմազանովը:

Հարցին, թե կարելի՞ է ենթադրել, որ մարտի 20-ին՝ հաջորդ քառօրյային, արդեն, ընդհանրապես նիստ չի լինի, Շարմազանովը պատասխանեց. «Չեմ կարող ասել: Ամեն դեպքում, ես որպես ԱԺ նախագահի տեղակալ կգամ կգրանցվեմ, մնացած 65 հոգին կգան, թե չէ, չեմ կարող ասել: Կարող եմ ասել՝ տիկին Նաղդալյանը և պարոն Սահակյանը ևս կգան, մնացյալի մասին չեմ կարող ասել, որովհետև ակտիվ քարոզչական փուլ է լինելու: Ամեն դեպքում մենք ունենք օրենսդրական աշխատանքի շատ մեծ բազա, դա արել ենք այս տարիների ընթացքում, մնացածը կապրենք, կտեսնենք»,- եզրափակեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

 Մարտի 2-ին Ազգային ժողովի նիստը հետաձգվեց քվորում չլինելու պատճառով: Նիստի մեկնարկին գրանցվել էին 34 պատգամավոր՝ անհրաժեշտ 66-ի փոխարեն: Պատգամավորների գրանցման գործընթացը կշարունակվի 3 ժամվա ընթացքում, և եթե այդ ընթացքում քվորում չապահովվի, նիստը չի կայանա: Այս պահի դրությամբ գրանցվել են 39 պատգամավոր:
