«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է.
«ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն ԱԺ-ում երեկ սկանդալային հայտարարություն է արել: Նրա խոսքերով, ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին բանակն ունեցել է վառելիքի խնդիր, ինչի պատճառով ռազմական տեխնիկան հնարավոր չի եղել աշխատեցնել: Պարզվում է՝ դիզվառելիքի հետ կերոսին են խառնում, եւ շուկայում այդպես անորակ վառելիք վաճառում: «Ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին մենք ունեինք բազմաթիվ դեպքեր, երբ մեր ռազմական տեխնիկան չէր աշխատում այդ պատճառով»,- ասել է վարչապետը:
Տեղի ունեցածն այլ կերպ, քան դավաճանություն, դժվար է որակել: Քանի որ հենց այդ խարդախության պատճառով ռազմական տեխնիկան չի աշխատել եւ մենք ունեցանք 100 զոհ: Ու հիմա բնականաբար հարց է առաջանում՝ ինչո՞ւ մինչեւ հիմա այդ դեպքերի վերաբերյալ քրեական գործ չի հարուցվել, եւ ընդհանրապես, ո՞վ է պատասխան տալու այս ամենի համար:
Համենայն դեպս, երկրի գլխավոր-գերագույն հրամանատարը դեռ Սերժ Սարգսյանն է, Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանն ընդդիմություն է խաղում, իսկ գործող նախարարը` Վիգեն Սարգսյանը, անձնական PR-ով զբաղվում»:
