Wnews.am-ը շարունակում է ներկայացնել ազդեցիկ քաղաքական գործիչների կանանց։ Այս անգամ ներկայացնում ենք Հայաստանի առաջին նախագահ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի կնոջը Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանին։
Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանն ազգությամբ հրեա է (հայրական ազգանունը Պլեսկովսկայա)։
Նա ծնվել է 1947 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 20-ին, Լենինգրադում:

Հայրը եղել է սպա, երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի մասնակից, մայրը՝ բժշկուհի, Լենինգրադի պաշտպանության մասնակից:

Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանն ավարտել է Լենինգրադի պետական ռուսական համալսարանի գերմանիստիկայի ֆակուլտետը:
Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի հետ ամուսնացել է 1972 թվականին։ Այդ ժամանակ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանն ասպիրատն էր։ Ամուսնությունից հետո նրանք տեղափոխվում Երեւան: 1975 թվականին ծնվում է նրանց որդին՝ Դավիթը:

Արդեն 20 տարուց ավել է, նա զբաղվում է հասարակական գործունեությամբ։ Նրա ուշադրության կենտրոնում է հատկապես հաշմանդամ երեխաների հիմնախնդիրը։

Նրա նախաձեռնությամբ եւ միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու տարբեր երկրներում հայ համայնքների օգնությամբ, վերակառուցվել է Խարբերդի մասնագիտացված մանկատունը, վերանորոգվել են Նուբարաշենի N 11 գիշերօթիկ օժանդակ դպրոցը, Վանաձորի մանկատունը եւ Օշականի մանկական վերականգնողական կենտրոնը:

1994 թվականին Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանի նախաձեռնությամբ ստեղծվել է հասարակական կազմակերպություն՝ Կանանց համահայկական միությունը, որի նպատակն է կանանց եւ երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը:
Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանը 20 տարի աշխատել է Հայաստանի պետական ռադիոյի ռուսական խմբագրությունում՝ որպես լրագրող-խմբագիր:

Տիկին Տեր-Պետրոսյանի նախաձեռնությամբ 1996 թվականին Հայաստանի Ազգային Ժողովն ընդունել է «Երեխաների իրավունքների մասին օրենքը», որն առաջիններից մեկն էր նախկին խորհրդային հանրապետություններում:
1997 թվականին, Լյուդմիլա Տեր-Պետրոսյանի նախաձեռնությամբ Լոս Անջելեսում ստեղծվում է «ԱՄՆ-ի Հայաստանի զարգացման ծառայություններ» կազմակերպությունը /Developmental Services for Armenia, DSA/: Անցած 10 տարիների ընթացքում այս կազմակերպության միջոցներով հանրապետության 8 միջնակարգ դպրոցների համար կառուցվել են կաթսայատներ, մարզային հիվանդանոցներին հատկացվել է շտապ օգնության 12 մեքենա, ստեղծվել են համակարգչային դասասենյակներ 20 միջնակարգ դպրոցներում: Այս ծրագրերը շարունակվում են:
