«Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդի» գլխավոր մարզիչ Ժոզե Մոուրինյուն մեկնաբանել է Կլաուդիո Ռանիերիի՝ «Լեսթեր Սիթիի» գլխավոր մարզչի պաշտոնից հեռացվելը.

 «Ինձ համար «Չելսիից» հեռացվելը նոր փուլ դարձավ, Կլաուդիոյի դեպքում էլ այդպես կլինի: Նման բաներ պատահում են մարզիչների հետ, և իմաստ չկա այս ամենը դրամայի վերածելու:

 Բայց ինձ օգնեց այն գիտակցումը, որ «Չելսիի» երկրպագուները երախտապարտ մնացին ինձ այն ամենի համար, ինչ ես արեցի ակումբի համար, և վստահ եմ, որ դա կօգնի նաև Ռանիերիին:

 «Չելսիի» երկրպագուները չեն մոռանա այն, ինչ ես արել եմ, Կլաուդիոն ևս, ըստ իս, շատ բան է արել «Լեսթերի» համար:

 Նրա հաղթանակն ԱՊԼ-ում ավելի մեծ նշանակություն ունի, քան իմ բոլոր տիտղոսները «Չելսիի» հետ: 50 տարի անց էլ «Լեսթերի» երկրպագուները կհիշեն նրան»,- պորտուգալացու խոսքերն է փոխանցում «The Guardian»-ը:
