Քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանը գտնում է, որ Ադրբեջանի կողմից երկու հարձակման փորձը պայմանավորված է Խոջալուի ազատագրման 25-ամյակի և ներիշխանական խնդիրների հետ:
«Լրատվամիջոցների վերջին մի քանի օրերի տեղեկատվությունները կամ գնահատակաները վկայում էին այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանը որոշակի գործողություններ է տրամադրված սկսել և նախապես մեղքը բարդել հայկական կողմի վրա»-Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց նա և նշեց, որ քիչ առաջ եղավ նաև Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նախարարության հայտարարությունը, որտեղ նշել են, թե իբր հայկական կողմն է հարձակվել և իրենք կորուստներ անեն:
Նշենք, որ ԱՀ ՊՆ մամուլի ծառայությունը հայտնել է, որ փետրվարի 25-ին՝ ժամը 03:00-ի և 04:00-ի սահմաններում, շփման գծի միանգամից երկու` հարավարևելյան (Մարտունի) և արևելյան (Ակնա) ուղղություններով հակառակորդը, օգտագործելով ականազերծման համապատասխան տեխնիկա և հատուկ միջոցներ, ձեռնարկել է հարձակման փորձ:
Հրանտ Մելիք Շահնազարյանն ասաց, որ Ադրբեջանը փորձել է Աղդամի դեպքերի 25-ամյակի հետ կապված ինչ-որ հարձակում կազմակերպել և որոշակի հաջողություններ գրանցել՝ հետագայում դա փորձելով ներկայացնել որպես վրեժխնդրություն: Ըստ նրա Ադրբեջանը՝ իր հեղինակությունը, քաղաքականությունը կառուցում է բացառապես հակահայկական որոշակի հաջողություններ ցույց տալու մոլուցքով:
«Երկրորդ խնդիրը՝ Ադրբեջանում ներիշխանական ձևափոխումներն են, և առկա բողոքները փորձում են արտաքին սպառնալիքով քողարկել»,-ասաց նա:
Քաղաքագետը նկատեց, որ վերջին մի քանի օրերը լարված էին, անընդհատ լուրեր էինք ստանում, որ հակառակորդը հրանոթներ և ականանետեր են օգտագործում և հիմա հարձակման փորձ է եղել, որը մեր կողմից կասեցվել է:
«Այս ամենը խոսում է այն մասին, որ, ըստ էության, սահմանում գրեթե մարտական իրավիճակ է և վտանգը ավելի քան ցայտուն է: Այստեղ պետք է հնարավորինս արագ փորձել միջազգային խողովակներով զսպել Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ քաղաքականությունը»,-ասաց նա։
Հրանտ Մելիք–Շահնազարյանը նաև նշեց, որ թեև Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները իրենք իրենցով որևէ բան անել չեն կարող, բայց պետք է ժամանակին և արագ տեղեկացվի իրավիճակի մասին և պահանջ ներկայացվի զսպելու Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ պահվածքը։
