«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթի տեղեկություններով, Շիրակի մարզում ՀՀԿ-ի ռեյտինգային թեկնածուների միջև լարվածություն է առաջացել ու այն խորանալու միտում ունի: Լարվածությունը մեծ է հատկապես Մարտուն Գրիգորյանի ու Արման Սահակյանի միջև:
ՀՀԿ-ն այնտեղ առաջադրել է Մարտուն Գրիգորյանին, Արման Սահակյանին, Ֆելիքս Ցոլակյանին, Սուքիաս Ավետիսյանին, Մուշեղ Պետոյանին և մի քանի այլ թեկնածուների: Մ. Գրիգորյանն ու Ա. Սահակյանը, ինչպես գրել ենք, նախ թույլ չտվեցին, որ Գյումրիի քաղաքապետ Սամվել Բալասանյանի որդին՝ Խաչիկ Բալասանյանն առաջադրվի: Բալասանյանը Գրիգորյանի հետ պարտավորվածություն ունի, որ ԱԺ ընտրություններում նրան է պաշտպանելու, քանի որ վերջինս էլ իրեն է օգնել դառնալ քաղաքապետ: Բալասանյանի օգնությունը կարող է ավելացնել Մ. Գրիգորյանի հնարավորությունը, ինչը դուր չի գալիս մյուսներին ու հատկապես Ա. Սահակյանին: Այդպիսով Մ. Գրիգորյանը կարող է նրանցից շատ ավելի ձայներ ստանալ:
Շիրակի մարզում ՀՀԿ շտաբի համակարգող Սամվել Նիկոյանը, սակայն, հերքում է, որ իրենց թեկնածուները լարված են միմյանց դեմ: «Մեր բոլոր թեկնածուները լարված աշխատում են մեր կուսակցության համար: Նրանց միջև լարվածություն չկա»,- մեզ հետ զրույցում ասաց նա»:
