Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ներգաղթյալների հոսքն ընկել Է մինչեւ 273 հազար մարդ, ինչը նվազագույն մակարդակն Է դարձել ավելի քան երկու տարվա ընթացքում: Այդ մասին ասված Է Միացյալ Թագավորության Ազգային վիճակագրական վարչության տարածած զեկույցում:

Այն ընդգրկում Է 2015 թվականի սեպտեմբերից մինչեւ 2016 թվականի սեպտեմբերն ընկած ժամանակաշրջանը, առաջին անգամ ներառում Է 2016 թվականի հունիսին կայացած հանրաքվեից հետո միգրացիային վերաբերող տվյալները: Այն ժամսանակ բրիտանացիների մեծամասնությունը հանդես եկավ ԵՄ-ի կազմից երկրի դուրս գալու օգտին, իսկ երկիր ժամանող օտարերկրացիների նկատմամբ ավելի խիստ հսկողություն սահմանելու անհրաժեշտությունը դարձավ այն հիմնական գործոններից մեկը, որոնք կանխորոշեցին հանրահարցման արդյունքները:

Զուտ միգրացիայի ցուցանիշը (տարբերությունը ժամանողների եւ մեկնողների միջեւ) նվազել Է 49 հազարով: Սեպտեմբերից սեպտեմբեր Միացյալ Թագավորություն Է ժամանել 596 հազար մարդ, իսկ 323 հազարը մեկնել են այնտեղից:

Նրանց թվում, ովքեր ավելի ակտիվորեն են սկսել Մեծ Բրիտանիայից հայրենիք մեկնել, ԵՄ-ի ութ երկրների՝ Չեխիայի, Էստոնիայի, Հունգարիայի, Լատվիայի, Լիտվայի, Լեհաստանի, Սլովակիայի եւ Սլովենիայի քաղաքացիներն են: Կտրուկ՝ մինչեւ 74 հազար աճել Է Բուլղարիայի եւ Ռումինիայի այն քաղաքացիների թիվը, որոնք որոշել են ժամանել Մեծ Բրիտանիա:

Վիճակագրական գերատեսչության փորձագետները նախընտրում են ոչ մի եզրակացություն չանել նոր տվյալների հիման վրա, նշելով, որ դեռեւս դժվար Է ասել, թե հանրաքվեի արդյունքներն ինչպես են ազդել Մեծ Բրիտանիայում մնալ-չմնալու՝ երկրում ապրող օտարերկրացիների որոշման վրա, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
