Հոգևորականներն աղոթում են, որ խաղաղություն լինի, ոչ թե պատերազմ, բայց եթե ադրբեջանական կողմը շարունակի ագրեսիվ քայլեր ձեռնարկել, հայերի պատասխանն էլ երբեք չի ուշանա:Արմենպրես-ի հետ զրույցում հայտարարեց Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Արցախի թեմի առաջնորդ Տեր Պարգև արքեպիսկոպոս Մարտիրոսյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` Ադրբեջանի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի կոպիտ խախտումները, երբ անգամ թնդանոթ է օգտագործվում, գրեթե պատերազմի մասին են վկայում: «Մենք էլ ստիպված ենք պաշտպանվել, հակադարձել, բայց զոհողությունների գնով: Ցավոք սրտի, այս լարվածությունը կարող է հանգեցնել պատերազմի, մենք ստիպված պիտի լինենք մեր բոլոր միջոցներով պաշտպանվել, դա մեր իրավունքն է»,-ասաց Պարգև սրբազանը:

Պատասխանելով հարցին, թե արդյոք կարող են հայ հոգևորականները ադրբեջանցիների հոգևոր առաջնորդի միջոցով խաղաղության կոչ անել` Պարգև սրբազանը նշեց. «Եղել են հանդիպումներ մեր կաթողիկոսի և Ադրբեջանի կրոնապետի միջև, ես չեմ կարծում, որ Ադրբեջանի կրոնապետը կամենում է պատերազմ, դա նրա գործը չէ, դա նրանց քաղաքական առաջնորդների գործն է: Ինքն էլ երևի փորձել է թույլ չտալ, բայց ես չեմ կարծում, որ նա այնքան լծակ ունի, որ կտրուկ ձևով ազդի Ադրբեջանի արտաքին քաղաքականության վրա, ցավոք սրտի»:

Դեռևս սեպտեմբերի առաջին օրերից սահմանային լարվածություն հրահրող ադրբեջանական կողմը վերջին երկու օրերին կոպտորեն խախտում է հրադադարի ռեժիմը` թուրքական արտադրության TR-107 կայանքներից հրթիռահրետանային արկակոծման ենթարկելով ՊԲ-ի հյուսիսարևելյան ուղղությամբ տեղակայված զորամասերից մեկի պահպանության տեղամասը, որի արդյունքում բեկորային մահացու վիրավորում են ստացել 4 ժամկետային զինծառայողներ, 16-ն էլ վիրավորվել են, նրանցից 4-ի վիճակը կայուն ծանր է:

Մինչ այդ էլ ադրբեջանական կողմը կրակահերթերի տակ է պահել ՀՀ Տավուշի մարզի սահմանամերձ շրջանները, որի պատճառով մահացել է 3 քաղաքացիական անձ, վիրավորում է ստացել 4 մարդ:
