Արթուր Աբրահամի մամուլի խոսնակ Սիրան Գրիգորյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.«ԲԱՐԻ ՏԱՐԵԴԱՐՁ, ԱՐԹՈՒՐ ԱԲՐԱՀԱՄ

Այսօր` փետրվարի 20-ին, հայ պրոֆեսիոնալ բռնցքամարտիկ Արթուր Աբրահամի տարեդարձն է:
Արթուր Աբրահամը (Ավետիք Աբրահամյան) ծնվել է 1980 թվականի փետրվարի 20-ին, Երեւանում: Գերմանիայի մայրաքաղաք Բեռլինում բնակվում է 2004 թվականից: ՀՀ քաղաքացի լինելուց բացի` 2005 թվականից ունի նաեւ Գերմանիայի քաղաքացիություն:
Մանկության տարիներին ՀՀ-ում լրջորեն զբաղվել է հեծանվասպորտով, եղել է Հայաստանի բազմակի չեմպիոն:
IBF վարկածով աշխարհի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսն առաջին անգամ նվաճել է 2005 թվականին` նոկաուտով առավելության հասնելով նիգերիացի Իկեկե Քինգսլիի նկատմամբ: Այդ տիտղոսն Աբրահամը պաշտպանել է մինչև 2009 թվականը:
Իր մարզական կարիերայի ընթացքում ունեցել է 50 մենամարտ, որոնցից 45-ում հաղթել է` համաշխարհային դասակարգման աղյուսակներում գրավելով առաջատար հորիզոնականներ: 7 տարի (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015) Աբրահամը ճանաչվել է Գերմանիայի լավագույն բռնցքամարտիկ` ըստ գերմանական հեղինակավոր "Box Sport" ամսագրի վարկանիշի:
Հայոց բանակում ծառայած պրոֆեսիոնալ բռնցքամարտիկը Հայաստանի զինված ուժերի "Անդրանիկ Օզանյան" շքանշանակիր է (2007թ. հունիսի 1-ից):
2007 թ. Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը Հայաստանում օլիմպիական շարժման զարգացմանը մատուցած ծառայությունների համար Արթուր Աբրահամին պարգևատրել է ՀԱՕԿ-ի շքանշանով:
2011 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 16-ին` ՀՀ անկախության 20 ամյակի միջոցառումների շրջանակում ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի կողմից պարգեւատրվել է 1-ին աստիճանի մեդալով "Հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայությունների համար" (Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի եւ սպորտի զարգացման գործում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի, միջազգային մրցասպարեզներում ունեցած մեծ հաջողությունների, ձեռք բերած մարզական փայլուն նվաճումների համար):
2013 թվականի հունվարի 9-ին ՀՀ Սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը Արթուր Աբրահամին պարգեւատրել Սփյուռքի նախարարության "Պողոս Նուբար" մեդալով:
2014 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 26-ին ՀՀ սպորտի եւ երիտասարդության հարցերի նախարար Գաբրիել Ղազարյանը Արթուր Աբրահամին հանձնել է շնորհակալագիր` միջազգային հարթակներում Հայաստանի և հայկական սպորտի պատիվը բարձր պահելու, փայլուն հաղթանակների ու Հայաստանում բռնցքամարտի զարգացմանը մեծապես աջակցելու համար:
2015 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 14-ին արժանացել է “Երևանի պատվավոր քաղաքացի” տիտղոսին:
