1. Դուք չեք կարող չստուգել ձեր կայքէջը 

Հարցման մասնակիցների 80 տոկոսը խոստովանել է, որ չի կարող գոնե օրական մեկ անգամ չստուգել սոցկայքի իրենց էջը։ Իսկ մեկ երրորդը դրանով զբաղվում է հիվանդագին հաճախականությամբ եւ սարսափում այն մտքից, որ իր օգտահաշվի հետ որեւէ բան կարող է պատահել։ 
Սոցկայքերից հոգեբանաակն կախվածությունը պակաս ամուր չէ, քան ծխողինը՝ ծխախոտից։ Ամերիկացի հոգեբաններն այն անվանել են Facebook Addiction Disorder (մոտավորապես՝ ֆեյսբուքյան կախվածության խանգարում)։

2. Սոցկայքերը մեզ ստիպում են խանդել

Ըստ հարցման տվյալների՝ մարդկանց մեծամասնությունը սոցկայքերում հետեւում է իրենց զուգընկերներին։ Առավել եւս, որ դա այնքան հեշտ ու պարզ է անելը։ Մի քանի քլիք եւ սոցկայքն ինքը քեզ «կհանձնի» մրցակիցներիդ/ մրցակցուհիներիդ ցուցակը։ 
Հարցման մասնակիցների 35 տոկոսը խոստովանել է որ այդ խանդը արդյունքում անհիմն է եղել։ Facebook-ը պատճառ է դարձել ԱՄՆ-ում հինգ ամուսնալուծություններից մեկի, իսկ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում՝ երեքից մեկի համար։

3. Սոցկայքերն օգնում են աշխատանքում

Facebook կամ Twitter օգտագործող մարդիկ 9 տոկոսով առավել արտադրողական են աշխատում, քան մյուսները։ Սոցկայքին հատկացված կարճ ժամանակահատվածը հանգստանալու հնարավորություն է տալիս։

4. Սոցկայքերը կարող են ձեզ դժբախտ դարձնել

Մարդկանց մեծամասնությունը սոցկայքերը գործածում է իր կյանքի դրական կողմերի մասին պատմելու համար։ Օրինակ՝ հանգստից լուսանկարներ տեղադրելը, որեւէ ծիծաղելի տեսահոլովակ ցուցադրելը։ Սակայն եթե ձեր գործերն այնքան էլ լավ չեն, սոցկայքերը վայրեկանաբար կարող են թշնամանալ։ Նախանձը, տխրությունը, խնդիրներից բողոքելու հնրավորություն չունենալը ձեր տրամադրության անկման եւ ընկճախտի պատճառ են դառնում։

5. Իսկ կարող են նաեւ երջանկացնել

Դուք կարող եք պարծենալ ձեր նոր սանրվածքով, նոր ընկերոջով կամ ընկերուհով։ Դուք կարող եք պատմել ձեր ձեռքբերումների մասին եւ like ստանալ։ Վերջապես դուք կարող եք ծիծաղել որեւէ զվարճալի տեսանյութի վրա եւ բարձրացնել տրամադրությունը։

6. Դուք կորցնում եք ընկերներին

Օրինակ՝ դուք ձեր ընկերոջը գրում եք ձեզ համար կարեւոր մի բանի մասին, իսկ նա կամ չի պատասխանում կամ խուսափողական պատասխան է տալիս։ Վիրավորական է։ 
Պետք չէ սոցկայքից սպասել փոխարինում իրական շփմանը։ Եթե ձեզ որեւէ բան է անհանգստացնում, սրճարանում հանդիպում նշանակեք եւ խոսեք։ Բոլորն էլ ձեզ կլսեն, հնարավոր է նաեւ աջակցեն։

7. Սոցկայքերը ձեզ ստիպում են ինքներդ ձեզ գեր կամ վատ տեսքով զգալ

Facebook-ի օգտատերերի 75% տոկոսը դժգոհ է իր արտաքին տեսքից։ Նրանցից 15-ը դրա պատճառն է համարում իրենց լուսանկարը մյուսների հետ համեմատելը։
