Օլիմպիական փոխչեմպիոն Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը նշում է ծննդյան 20-ամյակը

31-րդ ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերի փոխչեմպիոն, Պատանեկան օլիմպիական խաղերի չեմպիոն ծանրորդ Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը տոնում է ծննդյան 20-ամյակը:
Մարտիրոսյանը ծնվել է 1997 թվականին Հայկաշեն գյուղում: 2014 թվականին Չինաստանի Նաջի քաղաքում կայացան 2-րդ երիտասարդական օլիմպիական խաղերը, որոնցում Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դարձավ և' օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, և' ռեկորդակիր (170+221)՝ 2-րդ տեղը զբաղեցրած ծանրորդին ետ թողնելով ամբողջ 55 կիլոգրամով։
Այդ տարի նոյեմբերին կայանալիք մեծահասակների աշխարհի առաջնությունում Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը գրավեց 7-րդ տեղը, սակայն սահմանեց երկու պատանեկան ռեկորդ: 2014 թ. նաև մասնակցել է պատանիների Եվրոպայի առաջնությունը և զբաղեցրել 2-րդ հորիզոնականը: Իր ռեկորդը թարմացրել է միայն պոկում վարժությունում (184+210)։
Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանն անհաջող է հանդես եկել աշխարհի երիտասարդական առաջնությունում։ Պոկում վարժությունում 18-ամյա Մարտիրոսյանը 2 անգամ չկարողացավ բարձրացնել 177- կիլոգրամանոց ծանրաձողը, իսկ երրորդ փորձի ժամանակ անհաջող մոտեցում կատարեց 178 կգ կշռող ծանրաձողին։ Հրում վարժությունում էլ Սիմոնը 3 անգամ չբարձրացրեց 215 կգ-ն:
Մարտիրոսյանը 2015 թվականն ավարտեց ծանրամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությամբ՝ զբաղեցնելով 5-րդ հորիզոնականը (186+216): 2016 թվականի Ամառային օլիմպիական խաղերում նվաճել է Հայաստանի համար առաջին մեդալը՝ ծանրամարտի մինչև 105 կգ քաշային կարգում դառնալով արծաթե մեդալակիր՝ 417 կգ (190+227):
