Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամվոր Իգնասիո Կորաոն խստորեն դատապարտել է Ադրբեջանի գործողությունները Հայաստանի հետ սահմանին և ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում: Բրյուսելում «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում Կորաոն անընդունելի որակեց ադրբեջանական կողմի գործողությունները:

«Մարդկային կորուստները ցավալի են: Ադրբեջանը գործել է մարդու իրավունքների սկզբունքների դեմ, այն նույն սկզբունքների դեմ, որոնք ստանձնել է Եվրոպական խորհրդին, Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանին միանալու ժամանակ: Սա մեզ համար անընդունելի է, մենք չենք կարող նման ընկեր ունենալ»,- ընդգծեց խորհրդարանականը:

Անդրադառալով ավելի վաղ Ադրբեջանի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման դեպքերին, որոնք ևս մի քանի մարդու կյանք էին խլել` Կորաոն դատապարտելի երևույթ համարեց միջազգային հանրության կողմից այս հարցում մեծապես լռություն պահպանելը: Նա եվրոպական երկրների նման քաղաքականությունը պայմանավորեց էներգետիկ ոլորտում Ադրբեջանից ունեցած ակնկալիքներով: «Երբ խոսք է գնում աշխարհաքաղաքական, տնտեսական հետաքրքրությունների, էներգետիկ ռազմավարության մասին, որտե՞ղ են մարդու իրավունքները, մարդկային կյանքը, այն գաղափարները, որոնք պետք է համարվեին առաջնահե րթություն»,-ասաց նա:

Խոսելով սեպտեմբերի սկզբին Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի կողմից ընդունված` մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում Ադրբեջանի կոպիտ ոտնահարումները դատապարտող բանաձևի մասին` Կորաոն հորդորեց Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովին հետևողական լինել իր սկզբունքներին: «Եթե մենք կոչ ենք անում որևէ երկրի` շտկելու մարդու իրավունքների հարցում ունեցած խախտումները, ապա պետք է լինենք ուժեղ և հետևողական` հասցեագրելու ադրբեջանական կառավարությանն այսուհետ չգնալ նման քայլերի: Սա է այն ամենը, ինչ ես ակնկալում են Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովից, եթե վերջինս ցանկանում է ապագայի համար լի նել վստահելի»,- եզրափակեց Կորաոն:

Սեպտեմբերի 25-ին` ժամը 17:30-ի սահմաններում, ադրբեջանական զինուժի կողմից թուրքական արտադրության TR-107 կայանքներից հրթիռահրետանային արկակոծման է ենթարկվել ՊԲ-ի հյուսիս-արևելյան ուղղությամբ տեղակայված զորամասերից մեկի պահպանության տեղամասը, որի արդյունքում բեկորային մահացու վիրավորում են ստացել ՊԲ զինծառայողներ Նորայր Միքայելի Խաչատրյանը (ծնված 1995թ.), Ռոբերտ Սուրենի Մկրտչյանը (ծնված 1995թ.), Հարութ Մաքսիմի Հակոբյանը (ծնված 1997թ.) և Կարեն Գևորգի Շահինյանը (ծնված 1997թ.):

Ադրբեջանական կողմի կրակոցներից Տավուշի մարզի Բերդավան համայնքում սեպտեմբերի 24-ին զոհվել է 2 քաղաքացիական անձ, 2-ը` վիրավորվել: Զոհված քաղաքացիներն են` 1974 թվականին ծնված Սոնա Ռևազյանը և 1921-ին ծնված Շուշան Ասատրյանը: Ավելի վաղ հայտնի էր դարձել, որ Տավուշի մեկ այլ սահմանամերձ Պառավաքար համայնքում հակառակորդի կրակոցից զոհվել է 83-ամյա Պայծառ Աղաջանյանը:
