1973 թվականի մարտի 12-ին Fedex-ն իր առաջին քայլերն էր անում և մի մեծ ինքնաթիռ էին վարձել, որով տեղափոխում էին ․․․ ընդամենը 6 ծանրոց։ Պատկերացրեք այս փոքր թիվը։ Fedex-ի ղեկավար Ֆրեդ Սմիթը մրցակցից՝ UPS-ից, աշխատանքի է հրավիրում հայազգի վաճառքի մասնագետ Թեդ Սարտոյանին։ Թեդն իր աշխատանքի առաջին իսկ շաբաթում հասկանում է, որ վիճակը շատ վատ է, շաբաթական ընդամենը 300 ծանրոց, ահավոր էր, քանի որ բյուջե էլ չկար, մարդիկ ընդհանրապես պատկերացում չունեին, թե ինչ է Fedex-ը։

Թեդը սկսում է վաճառքներն ավելացնելու մասին մտածել և որոշում է ամբողջ թիմի հետ գնալ քաղաքներ, քաղաքը բաժանել թաղամասերի ու հատ-հատ տներով անցնել, ներկայացնել, թե ինչով են զբաղվում և կարող են անվճար առաքում կազմակերպել ԱՄՆ-ի ցանկացած մասում։ Անվճարի իմաստն էլ կայանում էր նրանում, որ մարդիկ փորձեին ու վստահեին։

Ու այն պահին, երբ մարդիկ համաձայնվում էին, Թեդը պահանջում էր 1 օրում տանել ծանրոցն ու ստորագրված ստացականը բերել, տալ ծանրոցն ուղարկողին։ ԻՆչու՞, որպեսզի ստեղծեն բրենդի նկատմամբ վստահություն։ Ու այսպես պատկերացրեք, քայլ առ քայլ, քաղաք առ քաղաք գրավել են մեր հայազգի մասնագետի այս գաղափարի շնորհիվ, որպեսզի մարդիկ ճանաչեն, իմանան Fedex-ի մասին։ Մեծ բյուջե չի, ուղղակի շատ աշխատատար է և պահանջում է մեծ նվիրում։

Եթե չունես գումար, ապա ներդնում ես ժամանակդ ու անցնում գործի, վստահություն ստեղծելու համար լավ մոտեցում էր:
