«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է.

«Երեւանի Վ. Բրյուսովի անվան լեզվահասարակագիտական համալսարանում փետրվարի 8-ին, կայացած խորհրդի նիստում նախագահ է ընտրվել ՀՀ նախագահի օգնական Ավետիս Բերբերյանը:

Մինչ այդ վարչապետի որոշմամբ խորհրդի կազմում տեղի են ունեցել որոշակի փոփոխություններ: Բերբերյանն ընդգրկվել է ՊԵԿ նախկին նախագահ Հովհաննես Հովսեփյանի փոխարեն: ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հանրային կապերի եւ տեղեկատվական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Արման Սաղաթելյանին էլ փոխարինելու է եկել ԱԺ պատգամավոր Աղվան Վարդանյանը:

Բուհի պրոռեկտոր Ցոլակ Ակոպյանից տեղեկացանք, որ խորհրդի նախագահի ընտրության ժամանակ նիստին ներկա անդամներից 22-ը քվեարկել են Ավետիս Բերբերյանի օգտին, 1-ը` ձեռնպահ:

Բրյուսովի անվան համալսարանում հրավիրված խորհրդի նիստը բացել է Կրթության եւ գիտության նախարար Լեւոն Մկրտչյանը: armtimes.com-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում նա ասել է, որ վերոնշյալ փոփոխությունները կապ չունեն բուհի հետ կապվող կոռուպցիոն սկանդալի հետ:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունը երեկ հայտարարություն էր տարածել`  հաղորդելով Բրյուսովի անվան համալսարանում, ընդհանուր առմամբ մոտ 36 միլիոն դրամի պակասուրդի առթիվ քրեական գործ հարուցելու մասին:

«Խորհրդի նոր կազմի թեկնածություններն արդեն իսկ շաբաթներ առաջ են եղել: Ինչ վերաբերում է կոռուպցիոն սկանդալին, ասեմ, նախարարությունը մտել է աուդիտային ստուգման, որից հետո որոշակի ուղղություններով խախտումներ են արձանագրվել: Ուստի գտել ենք, որ անհրաժեշտ է նաեւ դատախազության միջամտությունը եւ խնդրել ենք դատախազությանը` ուսումնասիրություններ անցկացնել հետեւյալ ուղղություններով, եւ այդ ուսումնասիրության հենքի վրա արդեն հարուցվել է քրեական գործ»,- նշել է նախարարը:

Ի դեպ, Վ. Բրյուսովի անվան լեզվահասարակագիտական համալսարանի ֆինանսատնտեսական հարցերով պրոռեկտորն է Արթուր Ավագյանը: Նա ՀՀԿ երիտթեւի նախագահ Կարեն Ավագյանի եղբայրն է: Բայց թե նա ինչ կապ ունի այս հնարավոր չարաշահումների հետ, մեզ չհաջողվեց պարզել: Արթուր Ավագյանի հետ կապ հաստատել հնարավոր չեղավ:

Ֆինանսատնտեսական հարցերով պրոռեկտորի պաշտոնում նա նշանակվել է 2013 թվականին: Դատախազության հաղորդագրության համաձայն, պակասուրդի մի մասը վերաբերում է 2016 թվականին: Մյուսների մասին չի նշվում: Բուհից նկատում են, որ պակասուրդը վերաբերում է տարբեր ժամանակահատվածների»:
