Սպենդիարյանի անվան Օպերայի եւ բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի տնօրենը պետք է այնպիսի մարդ լինի, որը տիրապետում է ամբողջ շուկայի մասին տեղեկատվությանը։ Այս մասին փետրվարի 8—ին կայացած ասուլիսին ասել է Օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի նախկին գլխավոր դիրիժոր Կարեն Դուրգարյանը։

Մեկնաբանելով լրատվամիջոցներում շրջանառվող լուրերն այն մասին, թե Օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի նոր տնօրեն է նշանակվելու մշակույթի նախկին նախարար Հասմիկ Պողոսըանը, Դուրգարյանը նշել է, թե միայն ժամանակը ցույց կտա՝ ինչ կարող է տվյալ մարդը եւ ինչ չի կարող։ «Ամբողջ աշխարհում օպերային թատրոնը, ֆիլհարմոնիկ նվագախմբի կամ երաժշտական դպրոցի  ղեկավարը պրոֆեսիոնալ է, որը սուպերգիտելիքների է տիրապետում տվյալ ոլորտում, ունի սուպերկապեր ամբողջ աշխարհում, քանի որ աշխարհի բոլոր գեղարվեստական ղեկավարները սերտ կապեր ունեն իրար հետ», –  նշել է նախկին գլխավոր դիրիժորը։
