Թուրքիայում 4464 պետական ծառայող գործազուրկ է դարձել։ Cumhuriyet թերթը հայտնում է, որ միայն ժանդարմերիայի հրամանատարությունից ազատել են 893 մարդու, որոնց մեղադրում են գյուլենականների հետ կապ ունենալու մեջ։ Ոստիկանության գլխավոր վարչությունից ազատել են 417 մարդու, ՆԳՆ—ից՝ 49, Վճռաբեկ դատարանից՝ 10, TRT հեռուստառադիոընկերությունից՝ 88, ԱԳՆ–ից 48 աշխատակցի։ Ազատվել է նաեւ 2585 ուսուցիչ եւ 330 դասախոս։
