Մեր երկրում ամեն բարեփոխում ոչ անհիմն հոռետեսականությամբ է ընկալվում: Վերջին 25 տարիների կյանքը դրա համար բավարար պատճառներ ստեղծել է:

2016-ի ապիլից հետո ի հայտ եկան լրջագույն խնդիրներ մեր ռազմապաշտպանական ոլորտում, այդ թվում՝ դիրքերում ենթակառուցվածքային համալրումների, կադրային համապատասխանելիության, սպառազինության որոշ բաղադրիչների և այլ հարցերի հետ կապված: Միտքը, որ տարիներ շարունակ ՀՀ բյուջեի մի զգալի մասը, որը մեր բոլորի ենթադրությամբ ուղղվում էր ռազմապաշտպանության ոլորտում շոշափելի փոփոխություններ ու ձեռքբերումներ արձանագրելուն, ապրիլին չդիմացավ քննադատությանը ու փաստեց, որ իրականությունը միգուցե մի քիչ այլ է:

Ներկայումս ինչպես ԼՂ-Ադրբեջան շփման գծի, այնպես էլ ՀՀ-Ադրբեջան սահմանային/շփման գծի տարբեր հատվածներում իրավիճակի բարեփոխմանն ուղղված տարաբնույթ քայլեր են ձեռնարկվում: Արդյունավետ է դա, թե ոչ, ես կդժվարանամ ասել: Սակայն, օրինակ, երեկ տեղեկացա, որ ՀՀ հյուսիսարևելյան սահմանի շփման գծի դիրքերում մեծածավալ շինաշխատանքեր են ընթանում (ընթացել), ենթակառուցվածքային համալրումներ են արվել: Դիրքերում տաք ու սառը ջուր է առկա, խրամատներն են աննախադեպ կարգով վերանորոգվել, սալահատակ է արվել, նոր պաշտպանական շինություններ են սարքվել: Գիշերային դիտարկման սարքերի, սննդի որակի և մի շարք այլ հարցերի մասով նույնպես կա անհրաժեշտ առաջընթաց:

Ինչևէ, եթե այս միջոցառումները նույն տեմպերով շարունակվեն շփման գծի մյուս բոլոր հատվածներում, կարծում եմ՝ մենք հնարավորություն կունենանք միգուցե բավական կարճ ժամանակում շոշափելի ձեռքբերումներ ունենալ դիրքային համալրման ու անվտանգության ապահովման տեսանկյունից ու այս անգամ միգուցե առավել պատրաստ կլինենք հնարավոր ցանկացած զարգացման:
