Ծխախոտը՝ երեխայի մենինգիտի պատճառ

Բրիտանացի գիտնականները պարզել են, որ հղիության ընթացքում ծխախոտի օգտագործումը մեծացնում է երեխայի՝ մենինգիտով հիվանդանալու հավանականությունը,-տեղեկացնում է Dailymail-ը: Ըստ գիտնականների, երեխաներին վտանգ է սպառնում նույնիսկ այն դեպքում, որ ծխում են ընտանիքի մյուս անդամները:
Գիտնականները նշում են, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ամեն տարի 600 երեխա հիվանդանում է մենինիգիտով՝ իր ծնողների՝ ծխախոտ օգտագործելու պատճառով: Գիտնականները նշված եզրակացությանը հանգել են՝ ուսումնասիրելով 18 հետազոտության արդյունքներ, որոնք հետազոտել են երկրորդային ծխի և մենինգիտի առաջացման կապը:
Ուսումնասիրության ընթացքում նրանք հայտնաբերել են, որ ծխախոտի ազդեցությանը ենթարկվող երեխաների մոտ մենինգիտի առաջացման հավանականությունը երկու անգամ մեծ է եղել: Իսկ այն երեխաների մոտ, ում մայրերը հղիության ընթացքում ծխախոտ են օգտագործել, մենինգիտի առաջացման հավանականությունը մեծ է եղել գրեթե երեք անգամ:
