2016-ի հոկտեմբերի 1-ին ամուսնացած երգչուհի Սոնե Սիլվերն ընտանիք կազմելուց հետո ակտիվ չի աշխատում, ինչը կապում է ոչ թե անձնական փոփոխության, այլ ձմեռային ցրտի հետ.«Տրամադրությունս անմիջականորեն կապված է եղանակի հետ։ Նիկ Էգիբյանի հետ խմբի նվագակցությամբ ակումբային համերգներ էինք ունենում, բայց հիմա դադարեցրել ենք, բայց, հավանաբար, կվերսկսենք, որովհետեւ կենդանի ձայնով ելույթը շատ լավ լիցքեր է տալիս»։

Նա BRAVO.am-ին հայտնել, որ չձայնագրած երկու նոր երգ ունի, որոնցից մեկը տեսահոլովակով կներկայցնի.«Միգուցե ամպագոռգոռ է հնչում, բայց առանց երգի ու երաժշտության չեմ կարող ապրել, իմ հոգեւոր սնունդն է, որից լիցքավորվում եմ։ Իմ երգերը կոմերցիոն չեն, հիմա մեզ մոտ ինչ-որ ռաբիս ոճ է ստեղծվել, կարոտում եմ մեր հին հայկական էստրադան։ Իմ ասպարեզի ընկերներս, գործընկերներս խորհուրդ են տալիս հայերեն 6/8-ային երգեր ձայնագրել, որով գումար կաշխատեմ, բայց չեմ ուզում իմ սիրելի հաուս ու ֆանկ ոճերը թողնել։ Ես չեմ փնովում մյուս երգիչներին, այդ երաժշտությունը պահանջարկ ունի, նրանք էլ երգում են, հարսանիքների միջոցով գումար են աշխատում։ Նաեւ գիտակցում եմ, որ իմ ժանրը Հայաստանում չի կարող զանգվածային լինել, օրինակ, հարսանիքներին բացարձակ ակտուալ չէ, եւ շատ քիչ է պատահել, որ երգեմ։ Հայկական «չաղ» հարսանիքներին սիրում են այդ պարային ելեւէջները, բայց ինձ չեմ պատկերացնում այդ ժանրում։ Հիմա փոքր լսարան ունեմ, բայց, ի ուրախություն ինձ, ունկնդիրներս շատանում են»։
