Միքայել Գրիգորյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է. 

1996 թվականին Լյուքսեմբուրգում ստորագրվեց Հայաստան - Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունները կարգավորող հիմնական իրավական փաստաթուղթը՝ Գործընկերության և համագործակցության համաձայնագիրը: Այն ուժի մեջ է մտել 1999 թվականին: Նշված համաձայնագրով կարգավորվում է ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների գրեթե ողջ սպեկտորը, բացի ռազմական ոլորտից։ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Եվրամիության հարաբերությունները կարգավորվում են 1999 թվականին ստորագրված՝ Գործընկերության և համագործակցության մասին համաձայնագրով։ 
ՀՀ և Եվրամիության միջև համագործակցությունում առաջնային են գիտական, մշակութային, տնտեսական սերտ կապերի հաստատումը: 

Այսօր Հայաստանը ԵԱՏՄ-ը լիիրավ անդամ է, ինչը սակայն չի խանգարում ՀՀ-ին էլ ավելի խորացնել հարաբերությունները Եվրոպայի հետ: Վերջին տարիներին տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունները կապված Ռուսաստանի դեմ կիրառվող սանկցիաների հետ լարվածություն մցրեցին ՌԴ-ԵՄ և ՌԴ- ԱՄՆ տնտեսական հարաբերություններում, ինչը որոշակիորեն զգացվեց նաև Հայաստանում: Այսօր հաշվի առնելով աշխարհում տեղի ունեցած վերադասավորումները` կարելի է ասել, որ սանկցիոն “պատերազմը” մոտենում է իր տրամաբանական ավարտին, ինչը կարևոր դեր կարող է ունենալ ՀՀ տնտեսական միջավայրի զարգացման համար: Հայաստան- ԵՄ տնտեսական հարաբերությունների խորացումը կարող է նպաստել ԵԱՏՄ-ԵՄ և մասնավորապես ՌԴ-ԵՄ տնտեսական հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանը: 

ՀՀ վարչապետն այսօր ընդունել է Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի Հարևանության և ընդլայնման բանակցությունների հարցերով գլխավոր տնօրեն Քրիստիան Դանիելսոնի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը: Կողմերը կարևորել են ՀՀ-ի և ԵՄ-ի մասնակցությունը մի շարք ծրագրերում և քննարկել են հետագա անելիքները: Դանիելսոնն անդրադարձել է ՀՀ-ԵՄ գործընկերության առաջնահերթություններին՝ նշելով, որ ԵՄ-ն հետաքրքրված է, մասնավորապես, տնտեսության զարգացման, բիզնես միջավայրի բարելավման, տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների հնարավորությունների ընդլայնման, ենթակառուցվածքների բարելավման և պետական կառավարման համակարգի բարեփոխման ուղղություններով գործակցությամբ: Զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել կառավարման, դատաիրավական համակարգերի բարեփոխումների, էլեկտրոնային կառավարության ներդրման, ենթակառուցվածքների բարելավման, ՏՏ և այլ ոլորտների հետագա զարգացման շուրջ, կարևորել փորձի փոխանակումն ու երկխոսության խորացումը: 

Հանդիպման ավարտին Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը բաց է բոլոր հարթակներում ԵՄ-ի հետ փոխգործակցության զարգացման համար:
