ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը պարզաբանում է տարածել՝ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հրամանագրից հետո վիզաների կարգի վերաբերյալ:

«Նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմից վերջերս ստորագրված հրամանագրով վիզայի տրամադրման պահանջների որեւէ փոփոխություն ՀՀ քաղաքացիների եւ ՀՀ քաղաքացու անձնագրով դիմող երկքաղաքացիների համար չի կատարվել, իսկ այդ հրամանագրով հարցազրույցի անցկացման հետ կապված փոփոխությունները ՀՀ-ում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան կողմից կիրառվում էին մինչ այդ հրամանագիրը եւ վիզայի ստացման գործընթացում փաստացի որեւէ փոփոխություն չի եղել. այն քաղաքացիները, ովքեր ունեն վավեր մուտքի վիզա, կամ ում մուտքի վիզայի վավերականության ժամկետը լրացել է առավելագույնը 12 ամիս առաջ, կարող են նոր վիզա ստանալ առանց հարցազրույցի, իսկ նրանք, ում նախորդ վիզայի վավերականության ժամկետը սպառվել է ավելի քան 12 ամիս առաջ, պետք է անձամբ ներկայանան եւ հարցազրույց անցնեն: Հարցազրույցի պահանջից  կարող են ազատվել նաեւ դիվանագիտական եւ պաշտոնական մուտքի արտոնագրերի համար դիմած անձինք:

Ինչպես միշտ, եթե դիմումը քննության առնելիս կամ դիտարկելիս հյուպատոսական պաշտոնյայի մոտ հարցեր առաջանան, ապա նա կարող է տվյալ անձին հարցազրույցի հրավիրել: Ընդգծենք նաեւ, որ վիզայի բոլոր դիմումների պարագայում, այդ թվում`այն դիմումները, որոնց դեպքում չի պահանջվում հարցազրույցի ներկայանալ, կատարվում է անվտանգության հետ կապված մանրակրկիտ ստուգում»,- ասվում է դեսպանատան պարզաբանման մեջ:
