Գերմանիայի զարգացման վարկերի (KfW) բանկի աջակցությամբ իրականացվող Հայաստան-Վրաստան էլեկտրահաղորդման օդային գծի և ենթակայանների կառուցման ծրագրի իրականացման կապալառու կազմակերպությունների ընտրության նպատակով հայտարարված միջազգային մրցույթի հայտատուները հայտնի կդառնան փետրվարի առաջին տասնօրյակում։ Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ էներգետիկ ենթակառուցվածքների և բնական պաշարների նախարարությունից, նախարարության զարգացման և ներդրումային ծրագրերի վարչության պետ Հայկ Հարությունյանի խոսքով, հայտերի ներկայացման վերջնաժամկետը բարձր լարման հաստատուն հոսանքի փոխակերպիչ կայանի և ենթակայանների կառուցման համար սահմանված է 2017թ. փետրվարի 6-ին, էլեկտրահաղորդման օդային գծերի կառուցման համար՝ փետրվարի 8-ին:

Ինչպես հայտնի է, ծրագրի իրականացման նպատակն է միացնել հայկական և վրացական էլեկտրաէներգետիկական համակարգերը` վրացական սահմանին մոտ` Այրումում տեղակայվող բարձր լարման հաստատուն հոսանքի փոխակերպիչ կայանով։ Վրացական կողմից միացումը կլինի «Մառնեուլի» ենթակայանից 500 կՎ օդային գծի միջոցով: Արդյունքում` Հայաստան-Վրաստան էլեկտրաէներգիայի փոխանակման հզորությունը ներկայիս 200 ՄՎտ-ից առաջին փուլում` 2019թ. կհասցվի 350 ՄՎտ-ի։

Առաջին փուլի իրականացման նպատակով ներգրավվել են շուրջ 188 մլն եվրոյի վարկային և դրամաշնորհային միջոցներ։

Ծրագիրը կշարունակվի նաև դրանից հետո։ Երկրորդ փուլի միջոցառումների իրականացման արդյունքում Հայաստան-Վրաստան գծով էլեկտրաէներգիայի փոխանակման հզորությունը 2021թ. կհասնի 700 ՄՎտ-ի, իսկ վերջնական փուլում` ելնելով շուկայի և տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության պահանջներից՝ 1050 ՄՎտ-ի:

Հայաստան-Վրաստան էլեկտրահաղորդման օդային գծի կառուցմամբ կխթանվի էներգետիկայի բնագավառում տարածաշրջանային հյուսիս-հարավ՝ Ռուսաստան-Վրաստան-Հայաստան-Իրան փոխշահավետ համագործակցության զարգացումը:
