ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ-ն կոչ է արել անհապաղ վերսկսել Սիրիայի շուրջ բանակցությունները

 ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը ողջունել Է հունվարին Աստանայում Դամասկոսի եւ ընդդիմության միջեւ կայացած բանակցությունները եւ կոչ Է արել ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո հնարավորինս շուտ վերսկսել դրանք: Ընդունված հայտարարության մեջ ԱԽ-ի անդամները Ղազախստանի մայրաքաղաքում կայացած հանդիպումը որակել են որպես Ժնեւի բանակցային գործընթացի վերագործարկմանն ուղղված «կարեւոր քայլ», տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
 
Նրանք հորդորել են ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի հատուկ դեսպանորդ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրային` «Ժնեւում բանակցությունները վերսկսել որքան կարելի Է արագ, ինչպես նաեւ կոչ են արել սիրական կողմերին` դրանց մասնակցել բարի կամքի ոգով եւ առանց նախապայմանների»:
 
Անվտանգության խորհրդում ընդգծել են Սիրիայում մարտական գործողությունների դադարեցման ռեժիմի պահպանման, հակամարտության քաղաքական կարգավորմանն ուղղված ջանքերի շարունակման անհրաժեշտությունը, ինչպես նաեւ մատնանշել են ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների դեմ պայքարելու կարեւորությունը: Ինչպես նշում Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը, մամուլի համար հայտարարության տեքստն առաջարկել Էր Ռուսաստանի պատվիրակությունը: 
 
Նախօրեին ՄԱԿ-ի ԱԽ-ն  փակ հանդիպում Է անցկացրել դե Միստուրայի մասնակցությամբ: Հանձնակատարը, ամփոփելով քննարկումների արդյունքները, լրագրողներին հայտնել Է, որ պլանավորում Է Դամասկոսի եւ ընդդիմության միջեւ բանակցությունները վերսկսել փետրվարի 20-ին:
