Երբ Կովկասում տղան և աղջիկը որոշում են ամուսնանալ, նրանց ծնողներն անում են ամեն հնարավորը, որպեսզի արարողությունը շքեղ անցնի։ Հենց այդ պատճառով է, որ կովկասյան ամուսնությունները մեծ շուքով են նշվում։ Մոտավորապես այսպես.
Համեստ հարսանեկան արարողությանը մասնակցում է մոտ 15-20 ավտոմեքենա։ Հենց մեքենաների քանակից է որոշվում փեսացուի դիրքն ու կարողությունը։ Երբեմն դրանց քանակը հասնում է հարյուրի։ Առջևից գնում են ջիգիթները` ձիավորները, նրանց հետևից մեկ այլ մեքենա, որին կարող է ցանկացած ոք կանգնեցնել և բաց թողնելու համար գումար պահանջել. դա ավանդույթներից մեկն է։
Հետաքրքրական է, որ հարսնացուն չպետք է ոտքը գետնին դնի։ Դրա համար էլ նրա կողքին միշտ գորգով մեկը կանգնած է լինում։
Կովկասյան հարսանիքների ժամանակ հյուրասիրությունը շատ ճոխ է լինում։
