Ապրիլյան պատերազմի մասնակից բազմաթիվ զինվորներ զորացրվում են զինգրքույկներում ռազմական գործողություններին իրենց մասնակցության մասին գրառումները կա՛մ ջնջված, կա՛մ փոփոխված՝ անվավեր նշումներով, մի շարք դեպքերում էլ ուղղակի առանց համապատասխան գրառման։

«Մասնակցել եմ ապրիլյան պատերազմին, եղել եմ առաջնագծում՝ տարբեր վայրերում: Զորացրվելու օրը, երբ ինձ հանձնեցին Զինվորական գրքույկը, նրա մեջ նշված էր, որ մասնակցել եմ ապրիլյան պատերազմին, և վրան կարմիր գրիչով գրված էր՝ անվավեր», - «Ազատության» հետ զրույցում պատմեց զորացրված զինծառայող Գարիկ Հովհաննիսյանը: - «Շատ մեծ զարմանք ապրեցի այդ օրը: Ինչպե՞ս ասեմ․․․ ոնց որ՝ չեն գնահատում մեր արածը: Չգիտեմ․․․», - հավելեց նա:

Զինգրքույկներում նման փոփոխություններ արվում են անմիջապես զորացրման պահին։ «Ազատության» հետ զրույցում զորացրված զինվորներն ասում էին՝ չեն հասկանում, թե ինչ սկզբունքով են Ղարաբաղի զորամասերում որոշում, թե որ զինվորն է մասնակցել պատերազմին, որը ոչ:

«Ես հարցրել եմ՝ ասել են՝ կա՛մ հարմար չի եղել, կա՛մ չպիտի խփեին [ռազմական գործողությունների մասին հավաստող կնիքը]: Բայց ինձ հետ մարդ է եղել նույն տեղը՝ իրենը խփել են», - պատմեց մեկ այլ զինծառայող:

«Ես հիմա ուզում եմ իմանալ՝ եթե ես չեմ մասնակցել, ինչի՞ համար է գրվել իմ զինգրքույկում, որ ես մասնակցել եմ, հետո դա անվավեր է ճանաչվել: Դա է ինձ հետաքրքիր», - հավելեց մյուսը:

Զորացրված զինվորններից մի քանիսը, ովքեր նույն խնդրի առաջ են կանգնել, խուսափեցին տեսախցիկից, սակայն համոզված են՝ իրենց նման շատերը կան։ Անգամ այնպիսի զինվորներ, ովքեր մարտական գործողությունների կիզակետում են եղել և վիրավորվել, իսկ հետո զորացրվել են առանց զինգրքույկում որևէ հավաստման, որ մասնակցել են պատերազմին։
