2017 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից ներդրվել է շահութահարկի կանխավճարների այլընտրանքային համակարգ, ինչը հարկ վճարողներին հնարավորություն կընձեռի կանխավճարները կատարել ոչ թե նախորդ տարվա շահութահարկի գումարի 18.75 տոկոսի չափով, այլ նախորդ եռամսյակի ընթացքում ապրանքների մատակարարումից, աշխատանքների կատարումից և ծառայությունների մատուցումից ստացվող եկամուտների 2 տոկոսի չափով: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ՀՀ ԿԱ ՊԵԿ նախագահի տեղակալ Վախթանգ  Միրումյանը հունվարի 25-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նշեց, որ այն նպատակաուղղված է տնտեսավարող սուբյեկտների մոտ ժամանակային առումով լրացուցիչ ֆինանսական միջոցների կենտրոնացմանը:

«Արդյունքում՝ բոլոր այն հարկ վճարողները, ովքեր նախորդ տարին ավարտել են մեծ շահույթով, սակայն ընթացիկ տարում զգալի շահույթ չեն ակնկալում, կարող են ընտրել կանխավճարների կատարման այլընտրանքային տարբերակը` դրանով իսկ կրճատելով իրենց կողմից վճարվող շահութահարկի կանխավճարների գումարները, միաժամանակ բարձրացնելով շրջանառու ֆինանսական միջոցների օգտագործման արդյունավետությունը: Այսինքն՝ տնտեսավարողը ընթացիկ տարում կկատարի կանխավճար՝ կախված արդեն ընթացիկ տարվա իր շրջանառությունից: Մեծ թե փոքր, միևնույն է, կվճարի դրա 2 տոկոսը», - ասաց Միրումյանը:

Մինչ այժմ գործող օրենքով, եթե տնտեսավարող սուբյեկտն աշխատում էր բարձր շահութաբերությամբ և դրա արդյունքումպետական բյուջե էր վճարում դրանից բխող շահութահարկի գումարը, ապա պարտավոր էր հաջորդ տարի, որպեսկանխավճար վճարել այդ շահութահարկի 75 տոկոսը: Այսինքն՝  յուրաքանչյուր եռա մսյակ 18.75 տոկոսով կատարում էրվճարում, անկախ այն հանգամանքից, թե ընթացիկ տարում նախորդ տարվա համեմատ իր գործերը լավացել են թե ոչ, ինչըորոշակիորեն սահմանափակում էր տնտեսավարող սուբյեկտների շրջանառու միջոցների տեղավորման գործընթացը:
