Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը զորացրված զինծառայողների  հետ հունվարի 20-ին կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում «ախմախություն» է որակել առանց ԼՂՀ  կարգավիճակի  Ադրբեջանին հողեր հանձնելու մասին խոսակցությունները:

«Մեզ համար ամենակարևորը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կարգավիճակի որոշումն է, որպեսզի մենք ունենանք այնպիսի կարգավիճակ, որը հնարավորություն է տալու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակչությանը հավերժ ապրել իր հողի վրա: Իսկ թե ով է պատրաստվում հող տալ, որ հողի մասին է խոսքը, ինչի դիմաց, դրանք երկրորդական խոսակցություններ են: Մի հավատացեք նման խոսակցությունների»,-ի պատասխան իրեն ուղղված հարցին, ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը:

Դիմելով հարցը բարձրացրած երիտասարդին՝ նախագահն ասել է. «Հետո ես ո՞նց պետք է քո աչքերին նայեմ: Չե՞ս ասելու՝ «ես գնացել եմ, այդ հողը պաշտպանել եմ, իմ ընկերները զոհվել են, իսկ դուք հենց այնպես, ուղղակի վերցում, ետ եք տալիս»: Նորից եմ կրկնում, չափազանց կարևոր է, որպեսզի մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրն իր ավանդը բերի մեր բանակի մարտունակության բարձրացման, ամրության գործին: Այստեղ դուք և բոլոր այն տղաներն, ովքեր պատվով, բարեխղճորեն ծառայել ու ետ եք վերադարձել, շատ մեծ գործ ունենք անելու: Հինգ, տասը տարի հետո ձեր հասակակիցներն են ղեկավարելու մեր երկիրը և դուք պետք է պատրաստ լինեք դրան: Դուք ձեր պարտքը կատարել եք այդ ժամանակահատվածի մասին, հիմա ձեր պարտքն է զարգացնել մեր երկիրը»:
