ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնի թվիթը հանգեցրել է Միացյալ Նահանգների կենսատեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունների կապիտալացման կտրուկ անկման, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով Bloomberg գործակալությանը: Nasdaq սակարանում առևտուր անող կենսատեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունների ինդեքսը սեպտեմբերի 21-ին 4,7 տոկոսով իջել է այն բանից հետո, երբ Քլինթոնը խոստացել է պայքարի պլան ներկայացնել դեղորայքի գների բարձրացման դեմ: «Դեղորայքի հատուկ շուկայում գների նման թռիչքները զայրացուցիչ են: Վաղը ես կշարադրեմ այն պլանը, թե ինչպես պայքարել դրա դեմ»,- հայտարարել է Քլինթոնը Twitter-ի իր միկրոբլոգում:

Թեկնածուն արձագանքել է New York Times-ի հրապարակմանը, որում ասված է, թե Turing ընկերությունը դարապրիմ հակաբիոտիկի գինը մեկ հաբի համար 13,5 դոլարից բարձրացրել է մինչև 750 դոլար, հակաբիոտիկ, որը հայտնագործվել է 60 տարի առաջ: Սա վերջին տարիներին ԱՄՆ-ում հակաբիոտիկների գների կտրուկ բարձրացման բնավ միակ դեպքը չէ: Այսպես, դոքսիցիկլին տարածված հակաբիոտիկը 2014 թվականին թանկացել է մեկ փաթեթվածքի համար 20 դոլարից մինչև 1,8 հազար դոլար: Դեղերի գները սահմանում են ընկերությունները, որոնք դրանց արտադրության արտոնագրեր ունեն:
