Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Եթե մարդն ինչ-որ բան է ասում, պետք է կարևորել միայն ասվածի ճիշտ թե սուտ լինե՞լը, թե՞ նշանակություն ունի նաև, թե ով և ինչի համար է դա ասում։ Բոլոր դեպքերի համար համընդհանուր պատասխան  չկա։

Ենթադրենք, Իլհամ Ալիևն ասում է, որ Հայաստանում խախտվում են մարդու իրավունքները։ Դա 100 տոկոսանոց ճշմարտություն է։ Սակայն տրամաբանությունը հուշում է, որ պետք է հաշվի առնել առնվազն երկու հանգամանք։ Առաջինը՝ դա ասում է բռնապետական (իսկական բռնապետական երկրի ղեկավարը։ Երկրորդ՝ այդ ղեկավարն անթաքույց սպառնում է ոչնչացնել մեր պետությանը և այնպես անել, որ հայերն այս տարածաշրջանում ընդհանրապես գոյություն չունենան։
Այսպիսով՝ վերանալ ասողի անձից այս դեպքում հնարավոր չէ։

 Ուրիշ հարց, երբ դու փորձում ես գուշակել մարդու մտադրությունները՝ այնպիսի մտադրություններ, որոնց մասին նա չի հայտարարում։ Դասական օրինակ է նույն մարդու իրավունքների խնդիրը։ Եթե Հայաստնում մեկը դրա մասին խոսում է, արդյոք ճի՞շտ է նրան «արևմտամետի» պիտակ կպցնելը և իսկույն «միասեռական Եվրոպայի» և զոոֆիլմերի թեմայի մեջ խորանալը։ Դա չափից դուրս հեշտ ճանապարհ է։ Իրավապաշտպանը, ենթադրենք, խոսում է ոստիկանության «քաղմասերում» մարդկանց խոշտանգման դեպբերի մասին, և որպես դրա «արժանի հակահարված»՝ ասվում է, որ խոսացողը գրանտակեր է և նպատակ ունի արդարացնել Արևմուտքից ստացած դրամաշնորհները։ Տվյալ դեպքում այդ հանգամանքը, եթե նույնիսկ ճիշտ է, երկրորդական է արձանագրված փաստի համեմատ։

 Մի խոսքով՝ դեպքեր կան, երբ կարծիք հայտնողի անձը և մտադրությունները նշանակություն ունեն,   իսկ  դեպքեր կան, երբ՝ չունեն»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
