 Թուրքիայի և Իսրայելի միջև վեց տարի անց հարաբերությունների կարգավորումից հետո թուրքական կողմը պատրաստվում է առաջին պաշտոնական այցը կատարել Իսրայել: Թուրքիայի արդարադատության նախարար Բեքիր Բոզդաղը հայտարարել է, որ այցը կկայանա փետրվարի 7-8-ը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է T24.c om.tr լրատվամիջոցը:

Նախարարի` Իսրայել կատարած այցի ընթացքում քննարկվելու է երկու երկրի միջև ազատ առևտրի համաձայնագրի ընդլայնման հարցը:

2010 թվականի մայիսի 31-ին իսրայելցիզինվորները հարձակվել են միջազգայինմարդասիրական նավաշարասյան կազմումՊաղեստինի Գազայի հատված օժանդակությունփոխադրող թուրքական «Մավի Մարմարա» նավի վրա` բեռների ստուգում անցկացվելուվերաբերյալ Թել Ավիվի պահանջներին չենթարկվելու պատճառով: Հարձակման հետևանքով նավի վրա 9 թուրք քաղաքացիներէին զոհվել: Անկարան Իսրայելից պահանջում էր պաշտոնապես ներողություն խնդրել և փոխհատուցել տուժածներիընտանիքներին: Թել Ավիվը ցավ հայտնելով մարդկանց զոհվելու համար՝ երկար ժամանակ մերժում էր դա, նշելով, որ իր զինվածուժերի գործողութ յունները համապատասխանում են միջազգային օրենքներին:

Երկարատև բանակցություններից հետո Իսրայելը 2016 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 30-ին ի վերջո Թուրքիայի արդարադատությաննախարարության հաշվին փոխանցել էր 20 մլն ԱՄՆ դոլար՝ որպես փոխհատուցում «Մավի Մարմարա»-ի գործով:

2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 13-ին Իսրայելի էներգետիկայի նախարար Յուվալ Շտայնիցը այցելել էր Թուրքիա, և դա 2010 թվականի «Մավի Մարմարա»-ի հետ կապված դեպքից հետո երկու երկրների միջև նախարարի մակարդակով կատարված առաջին այցն էր:
