Հունվարի 7-ին Գավառի «Քաղառի կռուգ» կոչվող վայրում սպանվել է Գեղարքունիքի փոխմարզպետ Անդրանիկ Հակոբյանի որդին՝ 29-ամյա Հայկ Հակոբյանը (Նորատուսցի Հայկո մականվամբ):

Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել ցերեկը՝ ժամը 12:30-ի սահմաններում. «Տոյոտա լենդ քրաուզեր պրադո» ավտոմեքենայից կրակոցներ են արձակվել «Աուդի-Q7» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի ղեկին գտնվող Հայկ Հակոբյանի գլխի եւ պարանոցի ուղղությամբ, ինչի հետեւանքով ստացած վնասվածքներից վերջինս հիվանդանոցի ճանապարհին մահացել է. Հակոբյանի վրա 7 կրակոց է արձակվել: Սպանության մեջ կասկածվում է Նորատուս գյուղի բնակիչ 20-ամյա Մեխակ Հարությունյանը, որը Նորատուսի գյուղապետ Մուրադ Հարությունյանի եղբոր՝ Արտակ Հարությունյանի որդին է: 20-ամյա երիտասարդը դեպքից անմիջապես հետո հորը պատկանող «Տոյոտա լենդ քրաուզեր պրադո» ավտոմեքենայով դիմել է փախուստի, սակայն հաջորդ օրը՝ հունվարի 8-ին, ներկայացել է ոստիկանության քրեական հետախուզության գլխավոր վարչություն եւ ինքնախոստովանական ցուցմունք տվել:

Մեր տեղեկություններով, նա որպես կասկածյալ հարցաքննվելիս պատմել է, որ կենցաղային հարցերի շուրջ վիճաբանություն է տեղի ունեցել, այլ կերպ ասած՝ «տղայական ռազբորկա»: Նա նշել է, որ վերջին շրջանում իր եւ Հայկ Հակոբյանի միջեւ մի քանի անգամ վիճաբանություն է եղել ավտոմեքենա վարելու հարցի շուրջ: Մեր տեղեկություններով, վիճաբանություններից մեկի ժամանակ Հայկ Հակոբյանը նույնիսկ ապտակել է Մեխակ Հարությունյանին: Եվ ահա դեպքի օրը՝ հունվարի 7-ին, նրանք կրկին նույն թեմայի շուրջ վիճաբանել են. երկուսն էլ եղել են մեքենաներով: Վիճաբանությունը հանգուցալուծվել է նրանով, որ Մեխակ Հարությունյանը «Մակարով» տիպի ատրճանակից մի քանի անգամ կրակել է Հայկ Հակոբյանի վրա: Մեխակ Հարությունյանը իրավապահներին է ներկայացրել նաեւ ապօրինի պահվող հանցագործության գործիք հանդիսացող հրազենը:
