Տաճար Սանթա-Մարիա Դել Ֆիորեգ
Տաճարի կառուցման պահից անցել է ավելի քան վեց հարյուր տարի, սակայն աշխարհի ամենամեծ աղյուսե գմբեթը մինչ այսօր մնում է Ֆլորենցիայի ամենաբարձր կետը:
Միջնադարյան Եվրոպայում գմբեթներ կառուցել չեն կարողացել, այդ պատճառով ճարտարապետ ֆիլիպո Բրունելեսկիի որոշումը իտալացիների մոտ հիացմունք է առաջացրել:

Տրևի շատրվան
Հռոմի ամենամեծ շատրվանն է` 26,3 մետր բարձրություն և 49,15 մետր երկարություն: Շատրվանի մոտ հավաքվում են զբոսաշրջիկների ամբոխներ, ովքեր մետաղադրամներ են նետում ջրի մեջ: Մեկ մետաղադրամը նշանակում է շուտափույթ վերադարձ, երկու` սիրային հանդիպում, երեք` հարսանիք, չորս` հարստություն, հինգ` բաժանում:

Էթնա հրաբուխ
Եվրոպայի ամենամեծ գործող հրաբուխը գտնվում է Սիցիլիայի արևելյան ափին: էթնայի բարձրությունը փոփոխվում է հրաբխից հրաբուխ, այժմ այն կազմում է ծովի մակերեսից 3329 մետր` սիցիլիական հրաբուխը 2,5 անգամ գերազանցում է Վեզուվին:
Էթնան ունի 200-400 կողմնային կիրճեր: Միջինը՝ երեք ամիսը մեկ յուրաքանչյուրից հրահեղուկ է դուրս ժայթքում:

Սան-Կարլո օպերային թատրոն
Աշխարհի ամենահին գործող օպերային թատրոնը բացվել է 1737 թվականի նոյեմբերի 4-ին, հայտնի Լա Սկալայից 41 տարի առաջ: 1989 թվականին անվտանգության նկատառումներով դահլիճի տարողությունը 3285-ից կրճատել են մինչև 2260 տեղ:
Սակայն իտալական օպերայի թատրոնների շարքում տեղերի քանակով Սան Կարլոն մնացել է առաջին տեղում:

Իտալիայի ամենամեծ լճի մեջ է թափվում երկրի ամենափոքր գետը`175 մետրանոց Արիլը: Գարդան գտնվում է Հարավային Ալպերի նախալեռնաշրջանում: Ջուրն այնքան թափանցիկ է, որ կարելի է զբաղվել դայվինգով:
Լճի հյուսիսարևմտյան ափն անվանում են կիտրոնի ափ(այնտեղ շատ են կիտրոնի տնկադաշտերը), իսկ հարավարևելյանը`ձիթապտղի:

Իտալիայի ամենամեծ հրապարակի մակերեսը 88620 մ2 է: Այն մոտավորապես չորս անգամ գերազանցում է Մոսկվայի Կարմիր հրապարակը: Ճիշտ է, Պրատո-Դելլա-Վալլեն հրապարակ կոչել դժվար է` նրա կենտրոնում 1775 թվականին ճարտարապետ Դոմենիկո Չերատոն ստեղծել է արհեստական կանաչ կղզի: Կղզու բոլոր ճանապարհները զարդարված են Պադուիի նշանավոր մարդկանց 78 արձաններով:

Աշխարհի խոշորագույն քրիստոնեական եկեղեցին ստեղծել են մի քանի հայտնի վարպետներ`Բրամանթեն, Ռաֆայելը, Միքելանջելոն, Բերնինին:
Տաճարն ապշեցնում է իր չափերով` երկարությունը` 218 մետր, բարձրությունը` 133,3 մետր: Տաճարի կենտրոնական նավի հատակին կան աշխարհի այլ մեծ եկեղեցիների երկարությունների մասին նշումներ:
