Հունվարի 5-ին Թուրքիայի Իզմիր քաղաքի արդարադատության շենքի առջև տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչական պայթյունի գործով ձերբակալվածներից 9-ի առնչությամբ հետաքննությունը շարունակվում է, գրում է թուրքական «Անադոլու» գործակալությունը: 

Գործակալությունը նաև հայտնում է, որ տեղում ոստիկանների կողմից սպանված ահաբեկիչը «Քուրդիստանի աշխատավոևական կուսակցություն» խմբավորման անդամ են եղել, թեև նշյալ խմբավորումը դեռևս չի ստանձնել պայթյունի պատասխանատվությունը: 

Սպանված գրոհայինի մոտ հայտնաբերվել է Գազիանթեփ քաղաքում գրանցված երկու անձանց անունով պատրաստված կեղծ անձագրեր, ավելի ուշ պարզվել է, որ վերոնշյալ անձիք որևէ կապ չունեն ահաբեկչի հետ: 

Հարձակումը ծրագրած երկու գրոհայիններն Իզմիր են ժամանել դեկտեմբերի 28-ին, այնտեղ հանդիպել են մի անձի հետ, որի ինքնությունը դեռևս չի բացահայտվում, գրոհայինները վերջինիցս գնել են երկու մեքենա:

Ենթադրվում է, որ հարձակման ընթացքում կիրառված 150 կգ-նոց ինքնաշեն պայթուցիկներն ահաբեկիչները պատրաստել են հենց Իզմիրում գտնվելու ընթացքում:

Նշվում է, որ, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, հարձակման ընթացքում գրոհայինները կիրառել են «պլան B» տարբերակը և փորձել փախուստի դիմել, քանի որ չեն կարողացել հասնել նպատակակետին իրականացնել ոստիկանի կանխարգելիչ գործողությունների շնորհիվ: 

Հիշեցնենք, որ ՔԱԿ-ը քրդական կազմակերպություն է, որի հիմնական նպատակն է զինված պայքարի միջոցով Թուրքիայի հարավ-արևելյան, Իրաքի հյուսիսային, Իրանի հյուսիս-արևմտյան և Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արևելյան տարածքներում հիմնել քրդական անկախ պետություն: Թուրք-քրդական հարաբերությունների սրման հերթական փուլը սկսվել է 2015-ի ամռանը:
