107-ամյա Քնար Եմենիջյանը Կանադայում բնակվող Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերջին վկան է

2017 թվականի փետրվարին Մոնրեալից Քնար Եմենիջյանը 108 տարեկան կդառնա: Նա Կանադայում բնակվող Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերջին վկան է: Այս մասին ասված է «Կանադայի ռադիո»-ի պատրաստած ռեպորտաժում:
Նա ծնվել է Կեսարիայում (այժմյան Թուրքիայում կոչվում է Կայսերի), 1909 թվականին: 6 տարեկանում Ցեղասպանության ու պատերազմի ականատես է դարձել: Ընտանիքին լավ է հիշում, քանի որ բոլորին հաջողվել է փրկվել: 2015 թվականին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին, տիկին Քնարը դեռեւս պահպանել էր պարզ հիշողությունն ու պատմում էր այն ամենը, ինչ տեսել է 1915-ի ապրիլին մինչեւ 2016-ի հուլիս: Հիմա հիշողությունն ու լսողությունը սկսել են դավաճանել նրան:
Փոխարենը նրա պատմությունները բառ առ բառ հիշում է որդին՝ Հովսեփը: Հիմա էլ նա է պատմում. «Մորս հայրը զինվորական է եղել: Նրա ընտանիքին փրկել է թուրք ծառայակիցը, նրանց թաքցրել է ֆերմայում: Մի քանի օր նրանք ամբարում են ապրել: Մի քանի ամիս շարունակ ուտելու բան գրեթե չեն ունեցել: Իսկ պապս, որը բանակում է մնացել, տիֆով հիվանդացել է: Դա ինչ-որ առումով փրկել է նրան: Ասել են՝ «Առանց այն էլ կմեռնի» եւ չեն սպանել, պարզապես հեռացրել են բանակից: Նա գտել է իր ընտանիքին, բայց տիֆը նաեւ նրանց է հասել: Բարեբախտաբար, կարողացել են հաղթահարել հիվանդությունը»:
Նրանք կարողացել են վերադառնալ իրենց հրդեհված տան ավերակների մոտ: Այնտեղ էլ 10 տարի շարունակ ապրել են ուրիշի անվան տակ, ստիպված են եղել որպես մահմեդականներ ներկայանալ: Դրանից հետո Եգիպտոս են փոխադրվել, որտեղ արդեն վերադարձրել են իրենց իրական անունները:
1956 թվականին Սուեզի ճգնաժամից հետո հայերը, շատ այլ ոչ արաբների հետ միասին, թշնամական վերաբերմունք են զգացել իրենց հանդեպ եւ Կանադա են տեղափոխվել:
