ՀՀ ԱԻՆ «Հիդրոմետ» ծառայության օդերևութաբանության կենտրոնի պետի տեղակալ Գագիկ Սուրենյանն այսօր լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում ասաց, որ հունվար ամիսը՝ դեկտեմբերի համեմատ, ավելի տաք է լինելու. «Բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ ամբողջ ամսվա ընթացքում լինելու է ջերմ գարնանային եղանակ: Հունվարին նույնպես վայրիվերումները շատ մեծ են լինելու. մենք ունենալու ենք արկտիկական ցուրտ ներխուժումներ, որոնք այս անգամ լինելու են ոչ թե՝ Սկանդինավիայի կողմից, այլ՝ Սիբիրի: Մենք հունվարին շատ հաճախ գտնվելու ենք սիբիրական անտիցիկլոնի ազդեցության գոտում, և մեր երկիր հիմնականում Ղազախստանի կողմից թափանցելու են արկտիկական օդային զանգվածներ: Բայց կլինեն նաև ժամանակահատվածներ, երբ մենք կգտնվենք Մերձավոր Արևելքից ներթափանցող արևադարձային տաք օդային հոսանքների ազդեցության գոտում: Բոլոր մարզերում հունվարը կանխատեսվում է՝ տեղումնառատ»:

Խոսելով հունվար ամսում հանրապետությունում սպասվող ամենաբարձր և ամենացածր ջերմաստիճանների մասին՝ նա ասաց, որ Արարատի, Արմավիրի մարզերում, Արագածոտնի նախալեռներում ու Վայոց Ձորի նախալեռնային գոտիներում արկտիկական ցուրտ օդային հոսանքների ներխուժման դեպքում կանխատեսվող նվազագույն ջերմաստիճանը -17 -20 աստիճան է:

«Իսկ առավելագույն ջերմաստիճանը, որ առանձին օրերին կարող է լինել այս հատվածներում, +4 +5 աստիճանն է, որ կարող է լինել ցերեկային ժամերին: Շիրակում, Կոտայքում, Գեղարքունիքում, Արագածոտնի և Վայոց Ձորի լեռնային շրջաններում ամենացածր ջերմաստիճանը, որ կարող է գրանցվել գիշերային ժամերին՝ -25 -23-ն է, և կան հատվածներ, որտեղ կլինի -32-33 սառնամանիք: Իսկ տաք օդային հոսանքների նեթափանցման դեպքում, առանձին օրերի, ջերմաստիճանը կարող է բարձրանալ՝ 0 +3 աստիճան»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է մայրաքաղաք Երևանին, ապա նրա խոսքով՝ արկտիկական ցուրտ օդային հոսանքների ներթափանցման դեպքում կլինի -17-20 աստիճան. «Առավելագույն ջերմաստիճանը կանխատեսվում է՝ +4 +5 աստիճան»:
