Այսօր խանութներում կան տարբեր տեսակի վարսափաթաթուկներ՝ տաքցվող վարսափաթաթուկ, ճկուն, սովորական կլոր մազմզուկներով վարսափաթաթուկ եւ այլն:
Տաքացվող վարսափաթաթուկը առավել արդյունավետ է: Պետք է մի քանի րոպե այն եռացրած ջրի մեջ դնել, ապա փաթաթել չոր մազերին:
Ճկուն վարսափաթաթուկը հարմարավետ է շատ, քանի որ կարող եք գիշերը հանգիստ քնել՝ չցավեցնելով ձեր գլուխը: Այ, իսկ սովորական կլոր մազմզուկներով վարսափաթաթուկը կարող է ձեր վարսերը վնասել: Հատկապես, եթե ձեր վարսերը վնասված են, չի կարելի այն օգտագործել:
Վարսափաթաթուկը ընտրելիս պետք նաեւ հաշվի առնել նրա չափին: Պետք է ընտրել այնպիսի վարսափաթաթուկ, որը ձեր վարսերին համապատասղան է: Օրինակ, եթե ձեր վարսերը կարճ են եւ բարակ, պետք է փոքր վարսափաթաթուկ վերցնել, իսկ եթե հաստ են ու երկար՝ մեծ:
Վարսափաթաթուկը սովորաբար փաթաթում են վարսերին խոնավ ժամանակ, եւ երբ որ վարսերը չորանում են զգուշությամբ պետք է այն արձակել: Եւ պետք է անպայման փաթաթելիս՝ ըստ վարսերի ծավալի՝ այն բաժանել բարակ ճյուղերի, որպեսզի արդյունավետ լինի եւ վերջում ստանաք այն, ինչ ուզում եք, եւ փաթաթելիս ել պետք է մինչեւ մազարմատը վարսափաթաթուկը փաթաթել:
