Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը այն մտացածին իրավիճակն է, որը ձեռնտու է Արևմուտքին: Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՌԴ ԴԺ պետական դումայի պատգամավոր, պաշտպանության և անվտանգության հարցերով կոմիտեի նախկին փոխնախագահ Վիկտոր Վոդոլացկին:
«Ցանկացած կոնֆլիկտ, որը գոյություն ունի հետխորհրդային տարածքում, հարկավոր է, անհրաժեշտ է Եվրամիությանը, ՆԱՏՕ-ին, ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությանը: Երբ բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ են նստում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահները, այդ ժամանակ այդ ուժեր որևէ կերպ թույլ չեն տալիս կարգավորման, հանգուցալուծման տարբերակներ գտնել»,- նշեց Վոդոլացկին:
Դիտարկմանը, թե Արևմուտքից էլ կարծիքներ են հնչում, որ հենց Ռուսաստանն է փորձում խոչընդոտել ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորմանը, քանի որ հակառակ դեպքում կկորցնի իր ազդեցությունը տարածաշրջանում, ապա ՌԴ պետդումայի պատգամավորը չհամաձայնեց. «Ռուսաստանը հետաքրքրված է մեկ բանով, որ Հարավային Կովկասը խաղաղ պայմաններ ունենա: 90-ականներին, երբ կողմերը կրակում էին միմյանց վրա, ռուս զինվորներն էլ մահանում էին:
Ռուսաստանին ձեռնտու է, որ հետխորհրդային երկրներում կոնֆլիկտներ չլինեն, որովհետև այդ երկրների հետ մենք տնտեսական, անվտանգային շահեր ունենք: Մենք ուզում ենք ավարտվի պատերազմը, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը չլինի կռվախնձոր: Ինչ փոփոխություն էլ լինի, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը այլևս Ադրբեջանի մաս դառնալ չի կարող»:
