ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ ամերիկացի համանախագահի պաշտոնը ժամանակավորապես կստանձնի դեսպան Ռիչարդ Հոգլանդը

 2017թ. հունվարից դեսպան Ռիչարդ Հոգլանդը ժամանակավորապես կստանձնի ԱՄՆ համանախագահի պաշտոնը Եվրոպայի Անվտանգության ու համագործակցության կազմակերպության Մինսկի խմբում: Նա կփոխարինի դեսպան Ջեյմս Ուորլիքին, ով դեկտեմբերի 31-ից այլևս չի զբաղեցնի այդ պաշտոնը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպա նությունից:

Դեսպան Հոգլանդն ունի ավելի քան 30 տարվա դիվանագիտական գործունեության փորձ: Նա եղել է ԱՄՆ դեսպանը Տաջիկստանում 2003-2006թթ., ԱՄՆ դեսպանը Ղազախստանում 2008-2011թթ. և ԱՄՆ փոխդեսպանը Պակիստանում 2011-13թթ.: Վերջին շրջանում դեսպան Հոգլանդը ղեկավարում էր Սիրիայում բռնությունների դադարեցման ռուս-ամերիկյան համաձայնության հետ կապված ռազմական համակարգման աշխատանքները և զբաղեցնում էր Հարավային ու Կենտրոնական Ասիայի հարցերով ԱՄՆ փոխպետքարտուղարի առաջին տեղակալի պաշտոնը: Մինչ վերոհիշյալ նշանակումները դեսպան Հոգլանդը ղեկավարել է Եվրոպայի ու Եվրասիայի արչության Կովկասի ու Կենտրոնական Ասիայի հարցերով գրասենյակը և եղել է Ռուսաստանում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան մամլո խոսնակը:

«Դեսպան Հոգլանդի մեծ ու երկարամյա դիվանագիտական փորձը էական նշանակություն կունենա Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման տևական ու խաղաղ կարգավորման շուրջ կողմերի հետ Միացյալ Նահանգների աշխատանքներում: Միացյալ Նահանգները շարունակում է կոչ անել կողմերին հետամուտ լինել հրադադարի պահպանման իրենց հանձնառությանը, իրականացնել Վիենայում ու Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ձեռք բերված համաձայնությունները և հորդորում վերադառնալ կարգավորման շուրջ բանակցություններին, որից կշահեն բոլոր կողմերը:

Դեսպան Ուորլիքին այս պաշտոնում հիմնական փոխարինողի մասին կհայտարարվի ավելի ուշ»,- ասված է դեսպանության հաղորդագրության մեջ:
