Բոլոր ամերիկացիները պետք է մտահոգված լինեն Ռուսաստանի գործողություններով, այս մասին ասվում է ՌԴ դեմ պատժամիջոցներ սահմանելու կապակցությամբ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի հայտարարության մեջ։

«Հոկտեմբերին իմ աշխատակազմը ներկայացրեց մեր գնահատականը այն երեւույթին, որ Ռուսաստանը փորձել է միջամտել ԱՄՆ ընտրական գործընթացին։ Այդ գործողությունները կարող էին ուղղորդված լինել բացառապես Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարության ամենավերին օղակից։ Ավելին, մեր դիվանագետները ճնշումների անընդունելի մակարդակի են բախվել Մոսկվայում անվտանգության ծառայության ու ոստիկանության կողմից։ Նման գործողությունները պետք է հետեւանքներ ունենան։ Այսօր ես կարգադրել եմ մի շարք միջոցառումներ ձեռնարկել։ Ես հրաման եմ ստորագրել, որը լրացուցիչ լիազորություններ է տրամադրում կիբերգործողություններին արձագանքելու համար, եթե դրանք նպատակ ունեն խոչընդոտել կամ խաթարել մեր, նաեւ մեր դաշնակիցների, կամ գործընկերների ընտրական գործընթացները ու կառույցները։ Ես նաեւ պատժամիջոցներ եմ սահմանել ԱԴԾ ու ԳՀՎ հատուկ ծառայությունների դեմ։ Բացի դրանից մենք փակում ենք ռուսական երկու ներկայացուցչություն՝ Մերիլենդում ու Նյու Յորքւոմ, որոնք օգտագործվել են հետախուզական նպատակներով ու «պերսոնա նոն գրատա» ենք հայտարարում 35 ռուս դիվանագետների ։

Եվ վերջապես Ազգային անվտանգության նախարարությունն ու ՀԴԲ-ն կգաղտնազերծեն ռուսական քաաղքացիական ու ռազմահետախուզական ծառայությունների կիբերգործողությունների մասին տեխնիկական տեղեկությունները, որպեսզի ԱՄՆ-ում ու արտասահմանում մասնագետները կարողանան նույնականացնել, բացահայտել Ռուսաստանի վնասակար կիբերգործունեությունը»

ԱՄՆ նախագահը հայտնել է նաեւ, որ մատ ժամանակներս իր աշխատակազմը կոնգրեսին կներկայացնի հաշվետվություն ընտրություններին միջամտելու՝Ռուսաստանի փորձերի մասին։
