Բրիտանիայի նախկին վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնը կարող Է դառնալ ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար. Daily Mail

Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախկին վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնը համարվում Է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնի ամենահավանական հավակնորդներից մեկը: Այդ մասին գրում Է Daily Mail թերթը՝ հղում անելով անունները չնշված պաշտոնյաների:
Նրանց կարծիքով՝ եթե Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը Քեմերոնին առաջարկի այդ պաշտոնh համար, որն ավելի քան 260 հազար եվրո աշխատավարձ Է ենթադրում, շատերը կպաշտպանեն նախկին վարչապետի թեկնածությունը:
Քեմերոնի ներկայացուցիչը դեռեւս չի մեկնաբանել այդ տեղեկատվությունը:
Բրիտանիան ազդեցություն ունի ՆԱՏՕ-ում, քանի որ «ռազմական առումով առավել նշանակելի երկիրն Է» դաշինքում ԱՄՆ-ից հետո: Ինչպես նշում Է հրատարակությունը, Միացյալ Թագավորությունը շահագրգռված Է, որ երկրի քաղաքացին ստանա այդ պաշտոնը: Նախ դա թույլ կտա Բրիտանիային «ավելի կարեւոր դեր խաղալ Եվրոպայի անվտանգության հարցում», եւ երկրորդ՝ երկրին հնարավորություն կտա «ԵՄ-ի գծով դաշնակիցներին ցույց տալ, որ ինքը ցանկանում Է Brxit-ից հետո կառուցողական դեր խաղալ աշխարհամասում»:
«Մենք պետք Է նրա համար տեղ գտնենք, նա շատ բան կարող Է առաջարկել: Մենք պետք Է համոզենք նրան՝ վերստին մարտնչել Բրիտանիայի համար»,-թերթը մեջբերել Է նախարարների կաբինետի անդամներից մեկի խոսքը:
Կառավարությունում Քեմերոնի դաշնակիցներն այն կարծիքին են, որ երկիրը միայն կշահի նման նշանակումից: Նրանք հայտարարել են, որ նախկին վարչապետը պատրաստ Է դիտարկել այդ հնարավորությունը:
Ներկայում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի պաշտոնն զբաղեցնում Է Ենս Ստոլտենբերգը: Նորվեգիայի նախկին վարչապետը այդ պաշտոնը կթողնի 2018 կամ 2019 թվականին: Մեծ Բրիտանիայի քաղաքացիները երեք անդամ գլխավորել են Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքը: 1952-ից մինչեւ 1957 թվականը ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարն Էր Հասթինգս Իսմեյը, 1984-ից մինչեւ 1988 թվականը՝ Փիթեր Քարինգթոնը, իսկ 1999-ից մինչեւ 2003 թվականը՝ Ջորջ Ռոբերտսոնը:
Մեծ Բրիտանիայի նախկին վարչապետ Դեւիդ Քեմերոնը պաշտոնաթող եղավ այն բանից հետո, երբ բրիտանացիները քվեարկեցին ԵՄ-ից երկրի դուրս գալու օգտին: Նոր վարչապետ դարձավ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի ներքին գործերի նախկին նախարար Թերեզա Մեյը, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
