Շիրակում հնդկացորենի ցանքատարածություններն ավելացնելու հնարավորություն կա: Այս մասին դեկտեմբերի 29-ին Շիրակի մարզպետարանում համայնքների ղեկավարների հետ ունեցած հանդիպման ժամանակ տեղեկացրեց Շիրակի մարզպետարանի գյուղատնտեսության վարչության պետ Մովսես Մանուկյանը: Ամփոփելով գյուղատնտեսական տարին՝ պատասխանատուն նշեց, որ 2017 թվականի բերքի տակ ցանվել է 21710 հա աշնանացան ցորեն՝ նախորդ տարվա 27367 հեկտարի դիմաց:
Մարզում 2016 թվականին սկսել են զբաղվել հնդկացորենի մշակությամբ իրականացվել է 280 հա ցանք, որի միջին բերքը կազմել է 20 ցենտներ: «Այժմ, երբ Բավրա համայնքում շահագործման փուլին է հասել հնդկացորենի տարեկան 9000 տ հզորությամբ վերամշակման արտադրամասը, նոր հնարավորություններ են ստեղծվում ավելացնելու հնդկացորենի ցանքատարածությունները՝ հասցնելով այն մինչև 6000 հեկտարի»,-տեղեկացրեց Մովսես Մանուկյանը:
Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում 2010-2014 թվականներին ցորենի սերմնաբուծության և սերմնարտադրության զարգացման ծրագրով 2015-2016 թվականներին ՀՀ Շիրակի մարզի ֆերմերային տնտեսություններին հատկացվել է. առաջին վերարտադրություն՝ 1230, սուպեր էլիտա՝ 24 և էլիտա ՝ 48 տոննա սերմնացու, սակայն 2016 թվականին աշնանը աշնանացան ցորենի առաջին վերարտադրության ծրագիր չի իրականացվել նախորդ տարիների պարտքերի չվճարման պատճառով: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ նախորդ տարիներից կուտակված պարտքը կազմում է 118 մլն դրամ:
2016 թվականին կարկտահարության պատճառով տուժել են մարզի թվով 18 համայնքների գյուղացիական տնտեսությունների գյուղատնտեսական մշակաբույսերի ցանքատարածությունները` 4600 հա, վնասի չափը կազմել է մոտ 1.4 մլրդ դրամ: Խնդիրը մեղմելու նպատակով մարզում տարվա ընթացքում տեղադրվել են 10 հակակարկտային կայանքներ:
