Քաղաքագետ Ալեքսանդր Մանասյանը կարծում է, որ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ պահվածքը պայմանավորված է նախ եւ առաջ նախատոնական շրջանով, երբ միջազգային մի շարք կառույցներ զբաղված են իրենց գործերով:
«Փորձում են ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական հակամարտությունը վերածել հայ-ադրբեջանական ուղղակի հակամարտության, եւ դա ամենից վտանգավորն է: Դա միաժամանակ իրենց համար է վտանգավոր, քանի որ միջազգային հանրության համար ակնհայտ է, որ վիճելի տարածքներ կոչվածը չի վերաբերում Հայաստանին: Կա նաեւ մի հանգամանք, որը կարող է ընդգրկվել այն փաստարկներում, որոնցով առաջնորդվում է Ադրբեջանը: Դա համանախագահող երկրների արտգործնախարարների համբուրգյան հայտարարությունն է, որը գրեթե բաց տեքստով հակաադրբեջանական է: Չեմ ասում, որ կանոնադիր կերպով, բայց ամբողջ ենթատեքստն ընդդեմ Ադրբեջանի է, եւ դա կարող է զայրացնել նրանց եւ հուսահատ քայլերի հանգեցնել»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման կարծիք հայտնեց քաղաքագետը:
ՀՀ Տավուշի մարզի Չինարի գյուղից դեպի հարավ-արևելք ընկած պետական սահմանի հատվածում դեկտեմբերի 29-ին վաղառավոտյան ադրբեջանական զորքերը ձեռնարկել են դիվերսիոն ներթափանցման փորձ: ՀՀ զինված ուժերը մարտի ենբռնվել հակառակորդի հետ։ Կիրառվել է դիպուկահարների և նռնականետերի< /i> կրակ։ ՀՀ զինված ուժերը լիովինվերահսկում են իրավիճակը՝ կանխելով հակառակորդի ոտնձգությունները:
ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակ Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրել էր, որդիվերսիոն ներթափանցման փորձի հետևանքով հայկական կողմը երեք զոհ ունի: Ադրբեջանական կողմը կրել է մինչև 7 զինծառայողի կորուստ։
