Աշխարհում ընթացող վերջին իրադարձությունների ֆոնին՝ Գերմանիայում տեղի ունեցած հերթական ահաբեկչությունը, Պալմիրիայի հարցը, իսլամիստների դուրս գալը Հալեպից, Ռուսաստանի դեսպանությունը Թուրքիայում, մի տեսակ ստվերեցին Պուտինի այցելությունը Ճապոնիա։ Բայց իրականում այն արժանի էր մանրակրկիտ ու հանգամանալի լուսաբանման։ Աշխարհաքաղաքական պրոցեսների առումով, Հեռավոր Արևելքի տարածաշրջանն ունի հսկայական նշանակություն։ Այնտեղ է գտնվում ամեն օր վիթխարի թափ հավաքող և աշխարհին լուռ սպառնացող Չինաստանը, տնտեսական հսկա Ճապոնիան, ինտելեկտուալ կենտրոն Հարավային Կորեան, որը նաև ամերիկյան կապիտալի ուղղակի ազդեցության գոտի է և ի վերջո, բոլորին իր միջուկային ծրագրերով սպառնացող Հյուսիսային Կորեան։

Այս շարքից յուրաքանչյուրի դերակատարումն ունի էական նշանակություն և ազդեցություն։ Սրանով է պայմանավորված նաև Ռուսաստանի զուսպ և հավասարակշիռ քաղաքականությունն այս տարածաշրջանի նկատմամբ։ Չինաստանի հետ պահպանելով դրական հարաբերություններ, նա փաստացի զսպում է չինական վտանգն ամբողջ աշխարհի համար։ Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է Ճապոնիայի հարցին, ապա պատմականորեն այս երկու երկրներին բարեկամ անվանել չի կարելի։ Նախ հիշենք ռուս–ճապոնական պատերազմը, այնուհետ, երկրորդ աշխարհամարտը, որի ժամանակ Ճապոնիան կռվում էր հակառակ ճամբարում։ Նմանօրինակ այցերը կարող են էականորեն և կտրուկ փոխել ուժերի դասավորությունը Հեռավոր Արևելքում։ Ինչպես միշտ, Պուտինը հանդիպմանը ներկայացավ ուշացումով։ Շուրջ երկու ժամ։ Ճշտապահ և ավանդութային ճապոնացիների համար սա կարելի էր համարել մահացու վիրավորանք, սակայն նրանք անտեսեցին այդ հանգամանքը։ Ընդհանրապես, ճապոնացիները շատ էին շեշտադրում արել պատմության և ավանդույթի վրա, ինչը թերևս որոշ ակնարկներ էր պարունակում՝ ուղղված Ռուսաստանի առաջնորդին։

Իհարկե, հասկանալի է, որ բանակցությունների առանցքում պետք է լինեին Կուրիլյան կղզիների և դրան վերաբերող խնդիրները։ Սակայն ի սկզբանե նաև պարզ էր, որ այս հարցում չի կարող լինել ռադիկալ փոփոխություն։ Կողմերը լուծում ցանկանում են գտնել։ Դա նախ և առաջ պետք է Ճապոնիայի վարչապետին՝ ներքին խնդիրների լուծման համար, իսկ Ռուսաստանին՝ աշխարհաքաղաքական ասպեկտից ելնելով։ Եվ ահա, նրանք առաջին քայլն արեցին այդ ուղղությամբ, համաձայն որի, երկու երկրները ներկայացնող կազմակերպությունները կարող են կազմակերպել համատեղ տնտեսական գործունեություն։ Բացի դրանից, Ճապոնիայի վարչապետը խնդրեց առանց վիզային ռեժիմի այցելություն թեկուզ այդ տարածքում գտնվող նախնիների գերեզմաններ։ Սրան Պուտինն ընդառաջ գնաց, անելով բարի կամքի դրսևորում և հանձնարարելով Լավրովին, կարգավորել տեխնիկական խնդիրները։ Սակայն ոչինչ այնպես չի տրվում։ Այս ֆոնին Ռուսաստանը գրեթե բաց տեքստով խոսեց ԱՄՆ ներկայության մասին ռեգիոնում և իրենց ունեցած մտահոգությունները, հատկապես, երբ ԱՄՆ–ն իր ներկայությունը հիմնավորում է Հյուսիսային Կորեայի միջուկային ծրագրերով։ Բառացի հնարավոր չէ փոխանցել երկու երկրների առաջնորդների խոսակցությունները, սակայն հաղորդագրություններից պարզ է դառնում, որ Ճապոնիան ևս ընդառաջ քայլ է արել և միտված է ռուս–ամերիկյան ազդեցությունների հավասարակշռմանը։ Այս զարգացող հեռանկարում, առանցքային նշանակություն կունենա Ճապոնիայի վարչապետի փոխադարձ այցը Ռուսաստան, որը սպասվում է 2017–ի սեպտեմբերից ոչ ուշ։
