2016-ին Ադրբեջանի առջև ծառացած ամենամեծ խնդիրը մնում է մանաթի փոխարժեքի պահպանումը, որը ներկա պահին ըստ Կենտրոնական բանկի սահմանած փոխարժեքի կազմում է 1,7475 մանաթ 1 ԱՄՆ դոլարի դիմաց, իսկ 1 եվրոյի փոխարժեքը կազմում է 1,8590 մանաթ, ռուբլունը՝ 0,0287 մանաթ:
Հատկանշական է, որ 2014 թ.-ին 1 ամերիկյան դոլարը կազմում էր 0,78 ադրբեջանական մանաթ, իսկ սև շուկայում այն տատանվում է 3-4 մանաթի սահմաններում: Դոլարի դեֆիցիտը շարունակվում է՝ բանկերը հրաժարվում են վաճառել արտարժույթ, վաճառքի ծավալները կտրուկ նվազել են:
Վերը նշվածից պարզ է դառնում, որ մանաթը գտնվում է ճնշման տակ, ինչի հետևանքով էլ ԿԲ-ն իր արտարժույթային պահուստային միջոցներով փորձում է զերծ պահել մանաթը խիստ ցնցումներից: Հարկ է նշել նաև, որ անցյալ տարվա ընթացքում ադրբեջանական մանաթը արժեզրկվեց մոտ 2 անգամ:
Կարծում եմ այս տեմպը երկար պահպանվել չի կարող: Շուտեվ Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները, ըստ իս, կանգնելու են արտաքին պարտքի մարման լուրջ խնդիրների առաջ:
