Հայոց քաղաքական երկնակամարում, երբեմն–երբեմն փայլատակում են գործիչներ, ովքեր շահում են հասարակության մի մասի համակրանքը հետո սկսում են փնտրել ինչ–որ ամբիցիաներ, կամ արդեն ունեն, այնուհետ հեռանում են ասպարեզից:
 
 
Այդպիսիք շատ ենք տեսել: Այդ ամենը, իհարկե, նրանք փաթեթավորում են հայրենասիրական շղարշով կամ ընդդիմադիրի կեցվածքով: Այդպիսի գործիչներից է նաև Վահան Բադասյանը: Որևէ կասկածի տակ չդնելով նրա գործունեությունը պատերազմի ընթացքում, Հադրութի վարչակազմի ղեկավար եղած տարիներին և ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովում, այնուամենայնիվ, ստիպված ենք արձանագրել, որ գոնե վերջին շրջանի նրա հայտարարությունները և գործելաոճը միմյանց չեն համապատասխանում: Քաղաքականությունը տարածք է, որտեղ զբաղվում են առավելապես պետական խնդիրներով: Երբ անձի գերարժեքությունը գալիս է այս հարթակ և դառնում առաջնորդող գործոն, ապա այն հեռանում է այդ ասպարեզից, կամ հաջողության դեպքում՝ վերածվում դիկտատուրայի:
 
 
Այն, որ ՀՀ իշխանություններին կամ իշխանամերձ գեներալներին կարելի է քննադատել որոշակի վրիպումների համար՝ դա փաստ է և կարող է անել այս կամ այն ոլորտին ծանոթ յուրաքանչյուր ոք: Բայց երբ այն կրում է անձնական մոտիվացիա կամ շահ՝ հեռանում է պետականության հանդեպ սրտացավության դրսևորումներից:
 
 
Բադասյանի քննադատությունը Մովսես Հակոբյանի և մի շարք այլ զինվորական բարձր պաշտոնյաների հասցեին, քննության առարկա դարձավ անգամ Հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում: Քրեական գործ չհարուցվեց: Սակայն այդ ամենից հետո մամուլում և սոցկայքերում եղան հրապարակումներ, որ Բադասյանն ունի անձնական շահ՝ կապված մատակարարումների հետ: Նա դեռևս դրանց չի արձագանքել: Քեսաբի աղմուկի ժամանակ, նա կոչ էր անում մեկնել ու ազատագրել Քեսաբը:
 
 
Սա, ներեցեք, կարող է անի շարքային քաղաքացին, բայց ոչ հասուն ու ճանապարհ անցած գործիչը: Ի՞նչ է, առաջարակում էր խառնվել Ռուսաստան–ԱՄՆ–Թուրքիա–Սիրիա բարդագույն թնջուկի՞ն: Ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին, ինչպես և սպասվում էր, Նախագահի կողքին էր, սակայն տրամագծորեն հակառակը վարվեց «Սասնա ծռերի» գործողության ժամանակ, որը, մեղմ ասած, չի բխում պետականության շահերից: Շարքը լրացրեց նրա տված վերջին հարցազրույցը, որտեղ մանրամասն անդրադարձավ ՀՀ երեք նախագահներին: Այն, որ երեք նախագահներն էլ ունեն մեղքի իրենց բաժինը ստեղծված իրավիճակում, որևէ մեկը կասկածի տակ չի դնում: Բայց նման պիտակումներով անդրադառնալը և կասկածի տակ դնելը հաջողած աքսիոմատիկ ճշմարտությունները, որոնք հատկապես վերաբերում են 1991–1994 թվականներին, մեղմ ասած, պետք է ունենա հստակ բժշկական բնութագիր: Կարելի է քննադատել, բայց միայն փաստերով ու հիմնավորված, չանցնելով որևէ կոռեկտության սահման: Երբ քո քննադատությունը զուրկ է փաստերից, և անցնում է անձնականի տիրապետման սահմանը, դու դառնում ես թաղում նարդի խաղացող ու երկրի վիճակից բողոքող քաղաքացի: Նարդի խաղացողը կարող է իրեն նման ճոխություն թույլ տալ, բայց արդյո՞ք դա հարիր է հասուն գործչին:
