Սարիկ Անդրեասյանի «Երկրաշարժ» ֆիլմը վերջին շրջանում ամենաքննակվողներից է: Ֆիլմին առնչվող քննադատությունները ծավալվում են ոչ միայն սովորական քաղաքացիների, այլ նաև ոլորտի մասնագետների շրջանակներում: «Երկրաշարժն» առաջինը ցուցադրվեց երկրաշարժ տեսած Գյումրիում. 1988 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 7-ը ներկայացնող իրադարձությունները համոզիչ չեն հենց գյումրեցիների համար:
«Գյումրիում տեղի ունեցած փակ ցուցադրության ժամանակ եմ ֆիլմը նայել և պետք է խոստովանեմ՝ շատ զայրացած եմ դուրս եկել: Պատճառը ոչ այնքան երկրաշարժի նկարագրությունն էր, այլ սխալ ներկայացված բազմաթիվ երևույթները… Ըստ ֆիլմի՝ երեք ընկերներ միանում և աղետի առաջին իսկ րոպեներից դիակապտությամբ են զբաղվում՝ անտեսելով փլատակների տակ մնացած օգնություն կանչող մարդկանց… Նայում ես ու մտածում՝ ի՞նչ է, այս տղաները ընտանիք, հարազատներ չունեի՞ն: Ինքս հիշում եմ, այդ ցնցման 20 վայրկյանները 20 տարվա տպավորություն էին թողնում: Երկրաշարժի «ոռնոցը» խլացնում էր ամեն ձայն: Վախին, սարսափին զուգահեռ մտքովդ միայն մեկ բան է անցնում՝ երեխաներս, ծնողներս, քեռի, հորեղբայր ինչպե՞ս են, ի՞նչ եղան: Վազում ես բոլորի տներով՝ հուսալով բոլորին կենդանի գտնել: Ու այս ֆոնին մի ռուս մարդ է օգնում հայ աղջկան՝ փլատակների տակից հանելով նրան: Բայց արի ու տես, որ մեր գյումրեցի երեք տղաները իրենց գործն առաջ տանելու համար սպանում են այդ ռուսին… Ֆիլմը ստեղծողները սարսափելի բան են արել մեր քաղաքի ու մեր ազգի համար, դեռ մի բան էլ այն ուզում են ներկայացնել աշխարհին», - Aysor.am-ի հետ զրույցում վրդովված նկատեց Գյումրու Վարդան Աճեմյանի անվան պետական դրամատիկական թատրոնի դերասանուհի, ՀՀ Ժողովրդական արտիստուհի Անահիտ Քոչարյանը:
