Ընթացիկ տարում Նյու Յորք են ժամանել ավելի քան 60 մլն զբոսաշրջիկներ

Ընթացիկ տարվա առաջին տասնմեկ ամսվա ընթացքում ավելի քան 60 մլն զբոսաշրջիկներ են ժամանել Նյու Յորք՝ ԱՄՆ-ի ամենամեծ քաղաքը: Ինչպես հայտնել են մեգապոլիսի իշխանությունները, չնայած նրան, որ տարին դեռ չի ավարտվել, այդ թիվն արդեն ռեկորդային Է: Անցյալ տարի Հուդզոնի վրա գտնվող քաղաք Էր ժամանել ավելի քան 59 մլն մարդ:
Ինչպես նշել են նյույորքյան վարչակազմում, հյուրերի թիվը, որոնք տարվա ընթացքում այցելել են աշխարհի ամենանշանավոր մեգապոլիսներից մեկը, արդեն յոթ տարի անընդմեջ ավելանում Է առնվազն 1 միլիոնով:
«Ամբողջ աշխարհում հայտնի տեսարժան վայրերը միշտ Էլ «մագնիսի» պես ձգում են զբոսաշրջիկներին»,-հայտարարել Է Ֆրեդ Դիկսոնը՝ NYC & Company կազմակերպության ղեկավարը, որն զբաղվում Է մեգապոլիսի գովազդով: Նրա խոսքով՝ այս տարի հյուրերի շրջանում ավանդաբար առավել մեծ ժողովրդականություն են վայելել Ազատության արձանը, «Էմփայր-սթեյթ բիլդինգ» երկնաքերը, Կենտրոնական զբոսայգին, 2001 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 11-ի ահաբեկչական գործողությունների զոհերի հուշակոթողը եւ բրոդվեյյան թատերական շոուները:
Դրա հետ մեկտեղ զբոսաշրջիկներն ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ չեն սահմանափակվում միայն Մանհեթենի ուսումնասիրմամբ, այլ ակտիվորեն այցելում են քաղաքի նաեւ մյուս շրջանները՝ Բրուքլին, Բրոնքս, Քուինս եւ Սթեյթեն-Այլենդ, նշել Է Դիքսոնը:
Նյու Յորքի իշխանությունների կողմից ներկայացված վիճակագրության համաձայն, այս տարի քաղաք այցելած զբոսաշրջիկների մոտավորապես 80 տոկոսը մյուս նահանգներից ժաեմանած ամերիկացիներն են: Իսկ օտարերկրյա տուրիստների ընդհանուր թիվը վերջին 11 ամսվա ընթացքում կազմել Է ավելի քան 12 միլիոն, ինչը նույնպես ռեկորդ Է դարձել: Նշված ժամանակաշրջանում ավելի շատ հյուրեր են ժամանել Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, երկրորդ տեղում Չինաստանի քաղաքացիներն են, նրանց հաջորդում են կանադացիներն ու բրազիլացիները, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
