ԵՊՀ միջազգային հարաբերություններ ֆակուլտետի ուսանող, ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի մասնակից Վաչիկ Գրիգորյանը, ով իր ծառայությունն անց է կացրել առաջին բանակային կորպուսի ստորաբաժանումներից մեկում, Past.am-ը հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ պատերազմական օրերի մասին խոսել չի կարող, քանի որ արգելված է, բայց հիշողություններն ավելի պարտավորեցնող են, քան նույն պատերազմի օրերին նա կարող էր ենթադրել:
 
«Երբ պատերազմական այդ դժվարին պահերից մազապուրծ եղած հայտնվում ես քաղաքականության կիզակետում, այդ ժամանակ հասկանում ես, որ անցյալը պարտավորեցնող է: Եվ հարկավոր է ոչ թե ձեռքերը ծալած նստել, այլ՝ դառնալ երկրում դրական գործընթացներին նպաստող քաղաքացի»,– ասում է Վ. Գրիգորյանը:
 
Վաչիկ Գրիգորյանը կարևորում է նաև երկրի կառավարումը բարձր մակարդակի հասցնելը, որպեսզի մարդիկ ոչ թե ստիպված լինեն մտածել քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվելու, այլ իրենց մասնագիտության մեջ հմտանալու մասին:
 
 
«Պետք է երկրում այնպիսի իրավիճակ լինի, որ բժիշկը ոչ թե մտածի Ազատության հրապարակ գնալու, այլ իր հիվանդին բուժելու մասին: Այսինքն, չպետք է թույլ տալ, որ վիճակն այնքան սրվի, որ մարդկանց մոտ քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվելու խնդիր առաջանա: Ամեն մեկն իր գործը պետք է անի և դրանով փորձի զարգացնել իր երկիրը»,– ասում է Վ. Գրիգորյանը:
 
 
Ու թեև ապրիլյան պատերազմի սահմանային թեժ օրերի մասին հիշողություններ պատմել Վ. Գրիգորյանը չցանկացավ, սակայն այդ կարճ նախադասությունն արտասանելիս անգամ նրա աչքերն այնպես փայլեցին, ինչպես սովորաբար սեփական երկրի հանդեպ տիրոջ զգացում ունեցող ցանկացած հայի աչքեր կարող են փայլել:
