Համացանցը եւ նոութբուքերն իջեցնում են սովորողների առաջադիմությունը. գիտնականներ

Համացանցին միացած համակարգիչների առկայությունը նկատելիորեն իջեցնում Է Ամերիկայի համալսարանների ուսանողների առաջադիմությունը եւ հանգեցնում այն բանին, որ նույնիսկ ամենախելացի եւ ուսումնատենչ սովորողները ստուգողականներից «երկու» են ստանում: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես&ra quo;-ը, ասված Է Psychological Science. հանդեսում հրապարակված հոդվածում:
«Այն, որ Համացանցը բացասաբար Է ազդում դպրոցականների առաջադիմության վրա, մեզ ստիպում Է մտածել, թե որքանով Է ճիշտ բազմաթիվ այն բուհերի քաղաքականությունը, որոնք սովորողներին թույլ են տալիս եւ նույնիսկ խրախուսում իրենց հետ պարապմունքներին բերել սեփական նոութբուքերը, թեեւ դրանք ակներեւորեն հարկավոր չեն ուսման համար: Այժմ ես իմ աշակերտներին խնդրում եմ նստել հետեւի շարքերում, եթե նրանք ցանկանում են համակարգիչ բերել մեր պարապմունքներին, որպեսզի ցանցում նրանց շփումը չշեղի մյուս սովորողներին»,-հայտարարում Է Սյուզան Ռավիցան՝ Իս տ-Լենսինգ քաղաքում (ԱՄՆ) Միչիգանի նահանգի համալսարանից:
Ռավիցան եւ նրա գործընկերներն այս եզրակացությանն են եկել՝ հետեւելով հոգեբանության ներածական դասընթաց այցելած մի քանի հարյուր ուսանողներից բաղկացած խմբի առաջադիմությանը, որն հոդվածի հեղինակներն իրենք են անցկացրել:
Գիտնականներն ուսանողների մի մասին թույլ են տվել պարապմունքների ժամանակ օգտվել համակարգիչներից եւ ցանցից, իսկ մյուսներն ստիպված են եղել տառապել՝ ժամանակավորապես իրենց զրկելով զվարճանքներից ու շփումից գիտափորձի անցկացման ընթացքում: Փորձերի մյուս մասնակիցները կարողացել են Համացանցից օգտվել, բայց միայն կրթական նպատակների համար:
Ավարտելով 15 դասախոսություններից բաղկացած դասընթացը՝ Ռավիցան բլից-թեստ Է անցկացրել ուսանողների շրջանում, գնահատելով նրանց գիտելիքների ընդհանուր մակարդակը: Այդ գիտափորձի արդյունքները միանգամայն կանխատեսելի են ստացվել. ուսանողները, որոնք կարող Էին օգտվել համակարգչից, նկատելիորեն ավելի վատ Էին իրենց դրսեւորել «ստուգողականի» ժամանակ, քան նրանք, ում դա արգելված Է եղել:
Հետաքրքիր Է, որ կրթական նպատակներով նոութբուքերի օգտագործումը ոչ մի կերպ չի օգնել ուսանողներին. միջին հաշվով նրանց առաջադիմությունը եղել Է այնպիսին, ինչպիսին «կոմպյուտերացված» ուսանողների ամբողջ խմբինն Էր:
Ինչպես կարծում Է գիտնականը, ձեռքով դասախոսությունները կոնսպեկտելն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, ավելի լավ Է օգնում մտապահել այն տեղեկատվությունը, որը հաղորդում Է դասախոսը, քանի որ ոչ մի բան չի շեղում սովորողներին, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
