Արդեն որքան ժամանակ է՝ Վրաստանում քննարկվում է Հայաստան հասնող տրանզիտ գազատարի 25% բաժնեմասը վաճառելու խնդիրը, ինչն, ուղիղ ասած, նոր բան չէ: Այդ երկիրն իրականում դեռ 2011–2012 թթ.–ին էր նման հայտ ներկայացրել, և բացարձակապես նորություն չէր ներկայի վարչապետի հայտարարությունը, թե՝ եթե Թբիլիսիին շահավետ պայմաններ առաջարկվեն, հնարավոր է, գործարքը շատ արագ գլուխ բերվի:
 
 
Խնդիրը, սակայն, այն է, որ ինչպես այն ժամանակ, այդպես էլ այժմ, գազատարի պոտենցիալ գնորդները երկուսն են՝ ռուսական «Գազպրոմն» ու ադրբեջանական SOCAR–ը: Եվ եթե հայտնի պատճառներով «Գազպրոմի» հետ կապված մտահոգություններ չկան, բնական է, որ հայկական կողմը պիտի սուր արձագանքեր ադրբեջանական կողմի հետ կնքվելիք հնարավոր գործարքին, այստեղ որևէ զարմանալի բան չկա: Եվ թե վրացական լրատվամիջոցներն ինչու են զարմացած, այսպես կոչված, հայկական աղմուկից, իրենց խնդիրն է: Դա մի կողմ թողնենք ու միանգամից նկատենք, որ գոնե մենք զարմացած չենք այն փաստից, որ Վրաստանը սուվերեն երկիր է ու նրա իրավունքն է կամեցածին պես տնօրինել իր իսկ սեփականությունը: Մյուս կողմից էլ, հաշվի առնելով հայ–ադրբեջանական լարված հարաբերությունները, Վրաստանում չպետք է վրդովվեն կամ նույնիսկ զարմանան, եթե Հայաստան գազ առաքող գազատարը Բաքվին վաճառելու մտադրությունը հայկական մամուլն էլ իր հերթին մեր պետության դեմ ուղղված ակնհայտ թշնամական ակտ դիտարկի: Ընդ որում՝ նույնիսկ այն դեպքում, եթե վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանի նմանությամբ հաշվի առնենք, որ վաճառվում է վրացական նավթագազային կորպորացիայի բաժնետոմսերի ընդամենը 25%–ը, և որ հսկիչ փաթեթին չտիրապետելով՝ ադրբեջանական կողմը չի կարող միանձնյա որոշումներ կայացնել, օրինակ, խափանելով Հայաստանի գազամատակարարումը:
 
 
Ամեն դեպքում այս պահին պաշտոնական Թբիլիսին դեռևս որևէ գործարքի մասին չի բարձրաձայնել, և հուսանք՝ այնտեղ այնքան խելացի կգտնվեն, որ քաղաքական լրջմիտ որոշումները կստորադասեն, իբր, տնտեսական շահերին: Մանավանդ որ ադրբեջանական կողմին մերժելով Վրաստանը նաև տնտեսապես չի տուժի: Վստահ եմ՝ այդ պատճառով լուրջ քաղաքական խնդիրներ չեն հարուցվի նաև Բաքվի հետ: Իսկ որ Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները կփչանան կամ գոնե կլարվեն, այդ մեկը հաստատ է: Իսկ թե դա ում է ձեռնտու՝ հաստատ վրացական մամուլն էլ հարցի պատասխանը գիտի: Համենայն դեպս՝ ո՛չ մեր երկու երկրներին...
